Jiraiya was getting beaten pretty mercilessly by Pain.

Naruto wasn't. Naruto has almost if not perfected the sage mode state, while jiraiya has not. They have the same summons so thats not a factor.


In any and most cases, Naruto blitzes, Overpowers, and beats jiraiya.

Remember though, Jiraiya has both ma and pa on his shoulders taking in energy to be in SM. Naruto can't, or at least from what we've seen so far. If Naruto can have ma and pa on his shoulders then he rapes Jiraiya big time. But if it's just like during the Pein fight and Naruto can't summon clones taking in SM chakra, then Jiraiya wins the fight knowing how he can go on forever.

Naruto perfected sage mode. He can do the same thing while moving.

Manga woot. He may have perfected it but he still can't just replenish he runs out hints: why he needed a clone in a scroll to continue. SM Jaraiya wins for having more skills and Experience.

Exactly, just because he perfected it doesn't mean he can draw in SM chakra while fighting. Which is why he needs clones to get more chakra.

He's not going to have time to completely transform, and even if he does, like J-Sun said, he can just SoTU
