Prologue
As a Teenager growing up in Karakura Town, Gaburieru Pauma lives a fun life of partying one night and skating the streets and alleys of Japan the next. One day his dear friend Kiseki is kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse located at the docks of Karakura Town. The kidnappers left a note taped to Kiseki's door. Gaburieru on his way to visit Kiseki is cut off by a bus and swerves out of control dodging and weaving through a crowd until he hits a partially open man hole. Upon collision he flies off of his board twisting his ankle and landing on his wrist spraining it. Now injured, he gets back onto his board and uses goofy position to switch his push off foot to his untwisted ankle. He makes it to Kiseki's house a bit later than he wishes as it is already getting dark. He flips his skateboard up and grabs it, lifting it from the ground, and tucking it under his arm. He walks up to the door and finds a note taped to it, he rips the note from the door in shock after reading the first few lines and finishes it realizing the cruel reality that was bestowed upon his dear friend. Not wasting anytime he gets back on his board and rushes to the warehouse at full speed making it to the docking yards in 45 minutes. Gaburieru throws his shoulder at the back entrance door using his weight to break it open as he quickly grabs it, stopping it from hitting the wall and alerting anyone who might not be friendly. He carefully tip toes through the back corridor and into the main storage area. A grim look creeps to the surface of Gaburieru's face as he finds something is horribly wrong. There is no one inside the warehouse. He quickly scurries around the building scanning every last inch for some clue as to why there is nobody here and why Kiseki isn't here. He finds himself back inside the main storage area as he collapses onto all fours believing that he was too late. He sits wallowing in his sallow mood until he hears a small tap start. The tap grows louder as Gaburieru whips his upper body to a wrench that allows him to see the area behind him. He can see nothing as the tapping grows louder and louder beginning to sound like the dense drop of foot steps against hollow wood floors. From the darkness appears a strange man with a katana at his side.
