I think that Portgas wins, because he is more expirienced, has a better devil fruit (IMO), and Luffy wouldn't be able to hit him.

Against PTS Luffy, Ace wins easily, not only his intangible but also his destructive power his superior than Luffy's. Against TS Luffy, then Luffy wins easily. Not only he's able to hit Ace, but also his speed his far superior. Not only that but also since Luffy is equipped with Haki, he can anticipate any of Ace's moves.

@cnorwood: Some people don't read manga, they're only stick to the anime. Besides, even if he reads manga, he's probably reffering to PTS Luffy. Couldn't you figure it out, when he said "...Luffy won't be able to it him"

It'll be a close fight, but since Luffy mastered haki he'd be able to punch Ace so...and he improved his gear second and third...so Luffy wins.

The thing is though, Luffy has improved his strength and speed and now has Haki, so he can cancel out Ace's intangibility and hit him full force, meaning he wins.
