What would you recommend? Many people keep recommending One Piece to me but after watching about the first 12~ episodes i was pretty bored but it seemed very outdated and not very detailed. At what point does One Piece really take off, and if you were to recommend that to someone would you tell them to watch from 1st episode or are early episodes not that good to later ones?
Ony other one people recommend is Bleach but i'm not a big fan of real world school style anime, like same problem i had with Inuyasha and them going to her school scenes it just takes me out of the world, like the Naruto world i'm a HUGE fan of and want to watch another anime that draws me in similar to it.
Any recommendations?

I would recommend Soul Eater. It has a few classroom scenes, but they are usually pretty funny. Also the fight scenes are really good and the characters are great.

One Piece Info:
One Piece kicks off around the Arlong Arc, Loguetown Arc or Alabasta Saga. The quality of Arlong Arc is not the best, but I find it passable. Loguetown has a lot of story in it, but I would say to try to watch Arlong Park first, just so you can get a taste of all the Straw Hat characters. So, I'd say start off at the Arlong Arc. If you can't get into that in a couple episodes, then try the Loguetown Arc. If you can't get into that after a couple episodes, try the Alabasta Saga. If you can't get into that in the first 5 or so episodes, One Piece is probably not your style.
Arlong Park - Episode 31.
Loguetown - Episode 48.
Alabasta Saga - Episode 62 (Baroque work stuff actually starts on Episode 64).
You could also skip to Skypeia or Water 7, but at that point, you've already missed so much that it's barely even worth it, unless you go back. However, I could say watch the final fights first, and if you like that it might make you more interested in the character's reasons for fighting, which could make you more interested in watching earlier episodes.
Battles:
Syrup Village - Episode 13 to 18.
Baratie - Episode 25, 27-29 (though I recommend 24 and 26.
Arlong Park - Episode 38-43.
Loguetown is pretty fun all around without any real battles.
If you have any specific questions, you can ask me.
If you are a manga fan, the manga is better in most people's opinion.
Other Shows Include:
Yu Yu Hakusho
Yumekui Merry
I don't know.
Ninja Scroll movies is supposed to be something that Naruto basically 'ripped off'. I believe it's Ninja Scroll.

Thanks for advice, i'm going to try Soul Eater today(never watched before) and One Piece again starting at 31 then.
I've already seen Ninja Scroll the movie and the anime episodes and really enjoyed all of them. That was really my first lure into anime then i got into Naruto which i really got addicted to.
I'll post back afterward but it might be a while espeically if i get addicted to one of them :)

Go with Soul Eater first, since it is only 51 episodes long and well worth the time.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Future Diary, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fairy Tail, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn can all be compared to Naruto I suppose.
Personally I liked all of these series more than Naruto though.
