Nope, I'm almost positive that Dan was indeed her lover.

As far as other couples go, no one ACTUALLY has a boyfriend or girlfriend, as much as I'd like to think so.

The only three things that happened is that they fought eachother in the chuunin exam, she saved him on the Sasuke rescue mission, and he saved her on the Matsuri rescue mission. Not that much of a relationship if you ask me. :roll:

Dan and Tsunade were never together. They could've been, but Dan died before the relationship even kicked in. Sad. :(

This is a shonen manga, not a shojo manga. Shojo mangas are the types with lots of romance in it, while shonen manga are the types that have more action and fighting in it, made more for boys. Thats why there arent a lot of romance in Naruto, becuz its a shonen manga.

Kishimoto started something with all these various people (Hinata/Naruto, Naruto/Sakura, Shikamaru/Temari, Sakura/Sasuke, Choji/Ino) liking each other. Now we want to know who will really end up together so he might as well include that stuff at some point. Besides that shojo manga sucks.
