Has Naruto lost his funny side?

When Naruto started, the hero was chased when he painted on the Hokage's faces. Naruto was pretty much a prankster, getting into trouble by Iruka. Fast forward to Shippuden, we really don't know if Naruto had lost his funny side or what? Did he or not? You be the judge on this

well first series he was a kid.. now hes older and growing more mature if he were to never be mature then he would never be good he would just be goofing off on everything. so yeah he kinda lost his funny side but he is funny at some points

Beats me. I really don't know if Naruto has lost his funny side since he started to work on his jutsu like his Rasen-Shuriken and underwent training on his Sage Mode. Then again, he does anything funny stupid and gets beaten by Sakura.

Well, Naruto is still funny from time to time even he came back to the Leaf Village. With the war going on, it's a bummer that he hasn't shown his funny side with his Jinchuriki control and stuff. No matter what, Naruto will be a funny ninja.

Yeah, he does seem to have a shortage of it lately, which is what made me lose interest in him. That was his appeal! Not that he doesn't have his moments once in a while, but nowadays, his silliness has kind of dwindled. Ever since he has been wanksting over Sasuke, he hasn't really been the same.

Yes he has, minus the fillers but I HATE fillers and so I'm glad about what he has become. Plus I second Kakuzu, it’s more so he lost his immaturity. (or loosing it) I hope they loose the fillers along with it.

You think so? Naruto trained some jutsu to improve himself because he wants to be better than Sasuke. The hero probably isn't too funny-acting shinobi like he used to in the past. We love believe he's lost his funny side and replaced with his serious state.

In a way yes, and in a way no. I mean it has it's comic relief but Shippuden is way more serious then the first part of the series. But then again it makes sense why it is more serious. There are some major things going on in it that are not meant to be funny....

I think he has since Jiriaya died. But then there was that squid or octopus thing. And then he used Sexy Jutsu on Killer Bee. So I don't know.

In the beginning of the series he acted out for attention and to stand out from the villagers and make a name for himself. In Shippuden (and more so after the battle with Pain) he is accepted by the town for his accomplishments as a ninja and is regarded as a hero and therefore he may not feel the need to do more pranks. He is maturing into an adult as well. That's my view on it.

I miss his goofy side and when he use to say "Believe it!" But his mature side is SUPER CUTE too, even more than Sasuke. It just makes me sad to see him sad all of the time. I think it's contagious.

To be honest, the only reason he was a prankster was to get attention.

Now that he is who he is now, he has all the attention he needs. +Maturity.
