Sage of Six Paths = Jesus Christ?

This isn't a joke, its just a theory mostly.

Here is my facts that helps this theory.

1) The Sage was called "The Messiah", which is what exactly Jesus was called according to many people.

2) The Sage traveled the world spreading his religion, same as what Jesus did but not around the world (according to many people as well), Jesus went around the Middle East spreading it. They both were trying to bring the world to peace from the wars happening.

3) They both have necklaces reflecting their religions. The Sage wore that necklace relfecting the Buddhism religion, while Jesus wore the Crucifix (according to many people).

4) Both came back in different ways. The sage came back as Nagato (according to Jiriaya, though this might just be a opinion) and Jesus was ressurected.

You are non-religious or Atheist then you don't need to respond. Im not about to get into a arguement about religions.

No Naruto fits that description more. His Tnj is way more powerful than the sage of 6 paths. Which is something Jesus used if you wanna be technical.

Although there are similarities between them, I don't think that Jesus would be brought into the story of Naruto. The author may have had influence from Jesus in creating the character of SotSP, but who knows? He uses a lot of Japanese religion in his story as well.

It could be possible, but most major religious have their own "messiah" so to speak. The SOSP also has parallels that fit with Buddha.

Buddha is not god, he's a person who descended to the reach of god. Though in some expectations he could of been the son of god. Who knows? I don't want to get TOO religious about this, netherless...what do you think about my theory?

Kishi has been using mythology and religion in his manga...I sorta like that. It shows how universally intelligent he is.

Anyway, I thought this for a long time too but never said anything about it. Its obvious that Naruto is becoming an parallel fantasy japanese ninja version of the Bible.

-The world was once cursed and an special man came from the heavens to bring peace to the world
-That special man gave his life to secure peace and passed the torch down to his generations who eventually failed him
-People using his religious practices as a reason/method for war(Ninja Wars/certain holy wars like European Crusades)
-Then an tale of a an evil person who will try to plunge the world into darkness(Madara/anti-Christ)
-As well as an chosen someone to stop him and save his people(Child of Prophecy/Jesus)
-An evil plan or thing that will strip people away of their freedom(Moon Eye Plan or Eternal Tsukuyomi/Mark of the Beast)
-Final battle to save the world(sorta like Legion but probably not as cool and more......)

Your completely right, I believe that Naruto (and formerly Nagato) is the Child of the Prophecy. The final battle of the world is called "Armageddon" in the bible while in Naruto it is called "Fourth Great Shinobi World War"

I didn't say Buddah was a god, I'm just saying you can compare traits between SOSP and Buddah as well as SOSP and Jesus.

Kishi's been pretty vocal about his use of mythology and references to other material though I've never read anything about him using western religion, but like I said it's possible.
