Fallout New Vegas

Epic game, also temporarily marked down to 39.99 at gamestop ftw :)

Still making my way through Fallout3 which is outright creepy imo, that the world mechanics were done very well!

Fallout 3 is am amazing game. I've beaten it once but im going throught it again with good karma.
Im getting New Vegas for Christmas!:3

I've had an excellent time of it so far, and the fact that I can go through my old home town in post nuclear war is really cool (woot for "The Pitt")

I havent gotten any of the DLC yet but im going to soon. I want Broken Steel and Operation: Anchorage the most

See I grabbed the DLC with the game when I got it, it came with all the DLC for a good price so I figured why not right? but ya, its just really cool to stalk around the cities.

In the Fallout 3, can you join the Enclave?

No but you can sabotage the water purifier for them

eh, thats no fun. I'd rather have the choice of faction, though the game is more like you're a lonewolf than anything else. I mean you're basically completely emotionless, and related to nobody (or have any significant relationships with others).

I mean for the purpose of the game and the player it makes sense, but I mean, could atleast have "friends" with some significant dialogue. I hate to say it, but if they'd have combine the social aspect of Fable 3 with the action aspects of Fallout 3/NV that game would have been absurdly epic.

You can get companions thought so you wont be a lone wolf all game

Exactly, some extra decisions. Games like Mass Effect and 2 both have the elements that make up a great game. If those elements were translated into the Fallout games, it would be beyond epic.

The story and the game though are amazing. Nothing is more satisfying than using "The Fat Man" to blow up super mutants :p

I did not know that! wow! though i didn't specialize in "Big Guns" stuck with "Small Guns" so I could snipe effectively.

If you like sniping you should invest your time in finding the Victory Rifle

Where in the world is that? oh, and is there a secret to keeping a high amount of Caps? I always seem to be spending a ton keeping myself togeather for the most part. Like is there a good way to earn em?

If you like sniping you should invest your time in finding the Victory Rifle
nah, get the Gauss rifle. kills deathclaws in 2 hits to the head. I found a Super Sledge called "Oh, Baby" (no joke XD) and there's a grenade launcher machine gun that's called "Mercy" that I used to kill a Deathclaw Denmother. let's just say I freaked out and started spamming grenades like crazy XD.

yep. carry whatever you can, sell whatever you can and don't want. take any ammo you can find, and get discounts whenever you can. that's what I learned to do

If you didnt blow up Megaton you can sell scrap metal to the water treatment guy for some caps and also during the Wasteland Survival Guide quest givin by Moira at the Craterside Supply in Megaton who have to go to this library and a lady in there will give you 100 caps for ever pre-war book you give her.
The Victory rifle is the strongest sniper rifle and you can get it by collecting these tapes called the Keller tapes and once you do you go to the National Guard Depot and using the tapes you unlock this door and through the door is all kind of loot and the victory rifle

Sounds like basic stuff really, and exactly what I been doing. I just invest in "Repair" a bit so I can fix my own stuff.

I went through Fort Bannister (talon company headquarters) and got some really good stuff and sold some other loot and got 2000 something caps
But before you go throught Fort Bannister beware that it is crawling with strong Talon Company mercs and there guard dogs

meh. I was talking about New Vegas. you can't get it in Fallout 3. though I love the Infiltrator you get in The Pitt. a silenced machine gun and scoped too. though my all time favorite gun is the dart gun. kinda sad they got rid of it in fallout new vegas

I have the schematics for the dart gun and all I need is some medical tubing and I can make it but I cant seem to find any

you can find that in a lot of places. go to the hospital where you find the rangers that pay you to find locations and you are sure to find some there

Also when Raiders decide to attack you and a Yao Guai comes to the rescue and tears them apart XD

oh, in new vegas there are these things called nightcrawlers. they are a mix of a coyote and a rattlesnake. they are pretty much the same as Yao Guais so you definitely want to get the animal friend perk in that game.
