The DWMA has recently learned that a certain psychiatrist, very talented in his field although currently only known as Sickmund Freud - a nickname he gave himself - has crossed the line of the Kishin. The most aggravating thing about this is that he had been studying madness, wavelengths and Soul Perception, for whom and what reasons are currently unknown. A team of experienced trackers was immediately sent to retrieve the man at his last known location, but were found in a seemingly deep state of sleep, their souls removed.

According to the information that was acquired after this event, this man has the ability to use regular persons' potential of becoming meisters to trigger their Soul Perception and induce a forced Chain Resonance of madness that allows him to reach the heart of his targets and almost literally grab their souls this way. The problem is that he is also gifted with high-speed regeneration, which means physical attacks do not work against him as long as he has what he needs to regenerate - and what that is, the information is unknown. After escaping, he's been known to be travel the world, from continent to continent, committing his silent crimes. The DWMA now fears he is actually in search of the Kishin himself, in order to try and apply his theory to him and absorb him. Although the chances of success are limited, should the result be positive, the consequences would be terrible.

Sickmund has been located in Moscow, after a group of persons have been found in the same seemingly deep sleeping state and their souls missing. Your mission is to find him and eliminate him by using his own trick against him, as it seems to be the only option left.

Ezio looked out of the window of the plane at the land below. It had been a while since he was last on a mission to somewhere so cold. It didn't bother him though. It was easier to warm up then it was to cool off. He threw his head back into the cushion of the seat. His headphones blaring music into his brain. All he could think about was the way the last mission ended. He didn't like the feeling of not being in control, but the power he gained was incredible. As the plane landed he arose from his seat and gathered his belongings. He looked down the aisle at Kai. They made eye contact and Ezio nodded to him. They had a weird relationship. They didn't talk much but they always seemed to know what the other was thinking. Except now. Ezio had no idea how Kai was feeling after that last incident. Ezio met up with Kai and walked with him through the airport.

"Yo. How you feeling after that last mission bro? I never really got the chance to ask you.", Ezio said as he pulled his headphone out of his ears.

They walked out of the airport and into a waiting taxi cab. The cab took them to a hotel that was located near the recent incidents. As they unpack their things they discussed the coming battle.

"Kai from what I read in the breifing of the mission this isn't going to be easy. The only tech that might work against him is that one. We need to make it fast so that the black blood doesn't consume your sanity. I won't let you get lost in it as long as you keep this guy from touching me. I don't want my soul pulled from my body.", Ezio chuckled a little.

Luckily for them the DWMA, using its contacts in Moscow, spread the word around the city that a keshin was located in the Castle Kremilin. They finished their unpacking and planning and headed down to the ground floor of the hotel. They hailed a taxi and went on their way to the castle. They arrived there and headed into the main chamber of the castle. Ezio and Kai took up their positions in the castle and waited for the Doctor to make his appearance. The drawback to this was they didn't know how long it would take him to come, or if he even would take the bait.

As Kai road in the plane he began to read and write a few of his thoughts down in a book. That last mission something happened to him and he wasnt sure what it was, but for some reason he actually liked the feeling. As the Plane land and Kai was gathering his stuff, he heard Ezio ask him a question. Kai just looked at him and sightly smiled, "Im doing fine man, dont have to worry about me.: But deep down something was disturbing Kai after that last mission.

As they got to the hotel Kai set down at a small table and pulled out the folder of files that Lord Death gave him about this new target. Kai looked up and listened to what Ezio was saying as he looked at the files. Ezio was right about him having the risk of losing his soul to this target. Kai just let out a little chuckle as Ezio continued on about him being scared.

As Kai and Ezio arrived at the castle, Kai gently opened the door. As Kai and Ezio took their places Kai noticed a small child walk into the castle. :Doctor?? Doctor!!!: The small child was looking for a doctor of any kind. Kai let out a silent sigh as he knew he couldnt help the child at all. Then Kai saw him, a Man with a lab coat on walk towards the child. Kai looked up at Ezio and gave him the signal to wait till he does something. As the man apporaced the child, he plunged his hand into the childs chest adn riped out his soul. The childs body just fell to teh floor. Kai was amazed by what just happened. Kai jumped from his postion tackleing the man, Kai began to pund away at this mans head but he just layed there and laughed. Kai threw him into the brick wall of this castle adn stared at him. "this is where you die!!!" Kai exclaimed.

The man slowly stood up and brushed off his coat adn looked at kai and licked his lips, "mmmm your soul looks as good as this young childs." Kai looked at the man as he clintched his fist, Kai knew there was no way to put a soul back into that kids body but what could Kai do but kill this being. Kai looked up and nodded at Ezio, bc the man was directly under his partner.

After what seemed like forever there was finally movement coming from below Ezio and Kai. A little boy walked into view calling for a doctor. Suddenly the doctor plunged his hand into the boy and ate his soul. The sight of this almost made Ezio sick. How could someone do something like that. He knew this is why they couldn't allow a keshin to be born. Before he could formulate any thoughts on what the proper course of action to take was, Kai had already jumped down and attacked the doctor.

"Wreckless as always", Ezio thought to himself.

He watched as Kai led the doctor right below Ezio. He began to build up his soul wave length and channel it to his hand. As the doctor got right below him he jumped down pushing off of the ledge to increase his speed. He flew down strait for the doctor.

"Kai!! Gauntlet mode!!", Kai jumped into the air, transformed and landed right onto Ezio's hand. "Soul Resonance!!", they said in unison. Shadows sprang up from the ground around the doctor and stabbed into him from eight different angles, pinning him to the ground. Ezio came down hard and drilled his fist into the doctors skull and released his soul purge.

"Royal Death Flash!"

Ezio stood up and looked down at the corpse of the doctor. A smirk spread across his face and relaxation washed over his body. As he wet to walk away he was able to move. Panic spread through him again. He didn't understand what was going on. Next he felt a small pr/ck on his leg. This snapped him back to reality. He hadn't killed the doctor at all. The Dr. was still there pinned down by the shadows by not dead. His soul purge had completely missed. He then realized what had happened. The madness the doctor was able to control had consumed him a second before his attack landed, causing him to miss.

"Thanks Kai for snapping me out of it.", Ezio said, turning towards the doctor. He looked at Sickmund. "How could you just do something like that to a child." He asked. This was all a try at keeping the doctor from getting himself free, giving Ezio enough time to charge up another attack. Sickmund simply laughed revealing his sharp twisted teeth. The doctor looked Ezio in his light blue eyes and simply said, "I was hungry and he was available. Blame his parents. Oh wait....I killed them too!!". He began laughing furiously. Ezio became uneasy by this. "Why doesn't he seem to be in pain?". Suddenly Sickmund's image faded and he was gone. Ezio froze, unable to move a single muscle in his body.

"Gotcha..". He heard this come from behind and felt his soul tighten. "Sh/t", he thought, "I got to confident and let my guard down. Sorry Kai....".

Kai knew they had this doctor traped just had to hit him with that one move. Ezio yelled out. Kai quickly changed to his gauntlet form as Ezio seeming landed one of their strongest attacks on the doctor. But something was a miss,Kai watched as Ezio thrust Kai at the doctor but totally missed him. Kai then thought of the report that he had read in the hotel room. He was able to catch his opponents and make them see something that is not there. "So that how he made Ezio missed!!" Kai quickly pricked Ezio on the leg to make him snap out of it. "You missed you idot!!!", Kai exclaimed knowing that was their best chance. As the Doctor and Ezio started to talk, Kai was trying to come up with a plan then suddenly the doctor vanished.


Kai heard Ezio say "Sorry Kai...", Kai just started to laugh, "Ezio, he isnt gone hes still here watching waiting for his oppening that he needs to attack." Kai started to think deeply as he was wanting to find the doctor, but how could he in this dark room. "Thats it!" Kai said," I control darkness and the shadows, Maybe we can go into a shadow and come out another??" Kai I had thought of a brilliant plan to catch that doctor off guard and land that last attack. But Kai knew they couldn't use the flash anymore because it was a one shot deal.

"Ezio, We have to get him in the rose mode, just land one rose on him and he will be marked and easily defeated." This plan was flawless to Kai. Kai began to use the darkness to find the right place and the right shadow to appear in after they sink into the shadows. As Kai concentrated on the shadows, he only hoped this wouldnt give the doctor the chance to attack them as they was preparing to take him down. Kai finally found the right shadow, it was luckly right behind the doctor at a perfect point to hit the doctor with one of the roses and to end this fight.Kai then said, "Alright Ezio, I found him now to try this, It should work and we should be able to take this monster down!" Kai let out a deep breath and loctated the doctor again and said, "Now Ezio lets end this Rose mode!!!!!"

Kai laughed as Ezio apologized not realizing that the doctor had a hold of him and was pulling out his soul. Ezio fought against Sickmund's power hoping that Kai would notice. Just as all his strength was about to expire Kai pulled him down into the shadows. Everything was different now. Ezio could hear Kai's words but didn't comprehend them. He didn't feel strong enough to battle the madness anymore. The feeling he had when the black blood took over returned to him.

"Kill........kill.......kill.....KILL!!!!!", is all Ezio could hear. A nagging voice demanding that he kills Sickmund. As he arose from the shadow behind the doctor he didn't go into rose mode. No, a new power and thirst for blood swelled within him. A green aura began to glow from Kai's gauntlet form just like before. The short sharp blade formed on the inside wrist of the gauntlet and it turned pitch black with silver accents. It was different this time tho. A red aura began to swirl around the green one and the gauntlet formed Kai. Ezio began to laugh sinisterly. He formed a red rod in his hand like the ones used in rose mode. As the doctor turned around he stabbed it into Sickmunds chest, strait through him, and into the ground pinning him in place. He formed 10 more red energy rods stabbing them into the demented doctor, fastening him into the ground even more with every strike. Ezio stopped and looked into the doctors face.

"You should pick your battles more carefully foolish doctor. Now you get what's been coming to you." Ezio raised his right hand up and the blade sprung out of the gauntlet, and it began to glow green. Ezio smirked and drove the spike right into Sickmunds forehead.

"Royal Flash Grenade!!". A bright green light mixed with streaks of black and red blinded Ezio and then everything faded to black.

The next morning he awoke back in the hotel room. He jump up to see where Kai was, and even how they had gotten back there. Questions were racing through him mind faster then he could process them. 359 Kai came walking into the room holding 2 coffees.

"Kai what happened to Sickmund? Did we kill him? The last thing I can remember is him having me and trying to pull my soul out. Then everything went black. I faded out. Do you know what happened?" Ezio sat and listened to everything Kai had to tell him. He couldn't believe what had happened. He was more excited then nervous to know the power he had. On the plane ride back to the DWMA he sat there thinking of how he could train to be able to use that ability at will.

As the strings of attacks finished and Kai takes his regular form, it would seem to Kai that Ezio knocked his self out. Kai walked over and took the soul of the demon doctor and walk backed to Ezio and carried him back to the hotel room. Kai layed Ezio on the bed then took a little nap his self.

As the sun rose the next day it shined right into Kai's eyes and woke him up, "God, shouldn't they put some curtains up or something." Kai let out a small sigh and got up and put his black hoodie on and walk down stairs to get him and Ezio some coffee. As Kai walked back into their room Ezio had woken up and asked a barrage of questions to Kai. "Now hold on for a minute man. You don't remeber anything do you??" Ezio just shook his head and kai let out a small sigh. "Alright I will tell you what happen."

Kai went on telling Ezio what happened and how they killed the doctor."well thats the whole story." Kai said takeing the last drink of his coffee. Kai got up and walked over to a bag and pulled out the doctor soul and looked at it. Kai knew that wasnt the whole story, Kai hide something from Ezio, that Ezio his self lost control due to that doctors madness. Kai examined the soul carefully and said, "I will be back Ezio." Kai hurried out the door leaving Ezio by his self.

Kai walked down the long street thinking bout Ezio looseing control and all like he did. "No it couldnt be, He got taken over by black blood." Kai just laugh as he approached the door to the castle where the little boy was killed. Kai gently opened the door and walked into it and looked around and examined the carnage left from the fight. Kai seen the little boys body and walked back over to it and looked at it and examined it. As Kai knew this little boy shouldnt have been lost and that Kai should of did something about what happened to him. But Kai couldn't save him now, but could he?? Kai noticed a small blue soul still floating in the room and walked over to it and took it and put it in the pouch and carried the kids body out of the room.

As Kai returned to the hotel, Ezio already had their things packed as him and Kai left that forsaken place. When they arrived back at DWMA, Kai left Ezio to go give the up date to lord death as Kai went to Stein. As Stein and Kai met, Kai explained what happen to the kid and if he could do something to save him. The kids life was now in Steins hands as kai left the house.
