No. I dislike it because the artwork does not compete with the anime artwork. And, the manga terms are horrible compared to the anime terms. However, I have seen later chapters and the artwork got better. So, we will see.

BTW, there is a second season coming out next year.

I guess so. They can make an enemy thats even bigger than the Kishin. They can tie in Soul becoming a Death Scythe and Noah and his crew. They should start with Noah. Other than that they are going to have to pretend DTK Sanzu Lines didn't really happen if they want him to have the same powers as in the Manga.

While I was watching the anime, I was reading information about the manga and I read that Soul ate Arachne's Soul to become a Death Scythe, so when I was watching the episodes, I expected the same thing to happen. All of a sudden, Asura rips her Soul out. I was like what the furk. >O

Sooo, I lied. I actually bought some of the manga, read it and now, I like it. Lol. Maybe the translations on those bootleg manga sites were what threw me. All of the good manga sites does not have Soul Eater due to copyright laws. The translation and picture quality is much better in the actual manga.
