It seems to me that everyone talking about how badly they want Danzo to die but doesn't it seem like Danzo is being demonized when he's just a little cruel. I sorta think it's all building to a big suprise where danzo is actually a good guy and doesn't want to destroy konoha from the inside but simpley thinks that he is doing what is best for konoha.

Maybe just maybe.

I don't think Danzo has ever wanted to destroy Konoha, he just has very extremist views on how the village should be run. He could endanger Konoha when he's Hokage
but he only wants what's best for the village

I am pretty sure he is doing good for Konoha, he is just working on some scheme to look out for numero uno first.

Well, I don't hate Danzo, but I know that he's a bad guy. Just instinct.

Still, he's given alot of color to the story-line.

Agreed, He added a nice touch to the arc in which he was involved. But there is always a guy that no one knows if they are good or bad till the end... and they are normally good to an extent.>_>

Shock is still effecting my body after seeing Danzo with sharingan, for some reason I think he has something to do with Uchiha clan's massacre..
However, i doubt he's Madara,due to the different pattern of their sharingans.
This has left me all curious...Wonder what else Masashi has up his sleeves.

I would have to say that Kabuto fits that discription more than danzo...I believe danzo is more of one of those villain types that thinks he's doing the right thing, but in reality his form of right is harmful and wrong.

Well What Danzo said about Orochimaru makes me wonder but ultimatly, most of his actions are for his best interest however he has shown interest in the safety of the village. Also he believes him being hokage is better for the village, so he does things using that as his justification. Whereas Kabuto has already proven he isnt to be trusted, and that he is in fact one of the "bad guys"

I wouldn't be so quick to judge that...I think Kabuto is...Highly confused. xD

He's done back-and-forths several times and at this point it is all but impossible to truely tell where he stands, or what he wants. It would seem the only reason that he was with Orochimaru was because of his desire for a purpose--much the same as kimimaru. It has been shown in the past that kabuto has argued against some of orochimaru's policies. Maybe he's not a bad guy like the snake was, but rather just did the things he did while orochi's pet not out of pleasure from doing evil things, but simply because he had no other choice if he was to stay at his masters side.

As for danzo..Yeah, that comment about the research does make one wonder about a self-serving side...

True However he seems to be ok with the fact that Orochimaru now Dwells within him and there is a chance he can over take him eventually. Also he does seem intent on continuing orochimaru's legacy and avenging him.

However i do see where you are coming from, as he didnt really let on to his intentions aside from killing sasuke and fighting naruto.

And i think the whole having orochimaru within him has a lot more to due with the connection he felt to the guy...like that was his one true bond, not dissimilar to naruto and sasuke perhaps. (it feels totally weird to make that connection because the characters are so different, but in terms of dependancy upon the relationship, i think it might be a viable connection?)
