Story progression so far

I've been watching the series to episode 189 reading all the subs. I've been the past months have all been Leaf History lesson episodes and I"m just wondering when will the story after Naruto fights and defeated pain, will the story move on? I've only seen about quick 2 minutes of actual storyline that's not history and the Lessons are starting to get tiring.

My guess is after the first of the year or around that time. The manga needs to get further ahead. 3 chapters seem to make an episode and it would suck to have fillers appear in the middle of a story arc.

yeah, it's been making wondering everything from where are the relationships going to go, what the future of Konoha is, and where the rest of the plot will move to.

After the Leaf History filler season started I began reading the Manga to see what was gonna happen next. It was killing me.

I personally can't afford to buy all the manga's. I've woken up every Thursday to my naruto site and watched the next one hoping for it showing signs of what happens next.

Anyways things get A LOT better, like

they both get new powers

but this won't happen for awhile.

that was the last episode I saw. It was interesting, but I still want to know the Sasuke vs Naruto, Naruto with hinata. Sakura's love interest. Tsunade( for everyone that far ahead)

I'm kinda wanting Naruto and Sakura with that fact Naruto has always wanted her regardless how she treated him when he was a knucklehead. Also I bet they'll lose Sasuke so Sakura would probably go for someone else.

On Hinata, I'm not sure who she'd get instead, but I'm just not sure.

Sasuke has never let anyone in, he believed he had it worse than Naruto back in the original naruto, he said that Naruto never had a family so he never had the pain of losing them. Naruto never had a family and was shunned by the entire community as a disease to be removed for about the first 12 years.

I agree Sasuke should get his butt kicked and left for dead.

Love is extremely complicated. In RL, it's whether why it worked or not. In anime, it's who gets with who when it has multiple choices.

right, it was a flash back. one of the crows went into Naruto and itachi said he gave something to Naruto and hoped Naruto would never have to use it. I've been curious as to what the something is.

oh, on the relationship thing, the other twist is that red-head that's head over heels for him. Can't remember her name. So even if Sasuke lived, Sakura and her would have to duke it out.

true, but she was in charge of that prison, survived the 8 tails, and kept by Orochimaru. He never kept anyone not strong enough to fight anyone less powerful than Kakashi.

yeah, or if the bad guy wins, the good guy has to win better. Otherwise it's just depressing even after the victory. Reason why I got so happy when i saw the end of the fight with pain.

yeah, but I depressed for months watching episode after episode. Then that happened and I wanted to have a party about it...well not really, but I still was speechless and rewatched that part of the episode several times.

I'm sad too, but i've gotten happy to see how well Naruto has taken over his job and abilities. Even his look merged well with Naruto.

Naruto is determined to save Sasuke, but the problem is, what if he can't be saved? What happens to Naruto then?
I've been hoping Hinata gets Naruto since the beginning. I've also wondered about Sakura and Rock Lee and maybe Tenten and Neji. :)

I have been torn between the Hinata - Naruto - Sakura triangle for a long time. When I weighed one side versus the other, I always have reasons to believe in each. It wasn't till recently that Hinata truly made more sense to me. How Sakura handled her half-true "confession" in the manga is what was the deciding factor....that and Hinata risking her life to save the one she loves during the Pain battle.

As far as Neji and Tenten, I always thought they had a behind the scenes thing going on, as neither of the two are very public with themselves normally.

Kage Summit, Sasuke is branded a criminal after supposedly capturing and sealing Killerbee, and is sentenced to death. Madara announces his Moons Eye plan to the Kage, and Zetsu drains the Kage's chakra. Sasuke is badly injured in his fight against the Kage, and is saved by Zetsu. Kisame fights Killerbee to get him sealed. Kisame loses after Raikage joins Killerbee and decapitates him. Kisame is really hiding inside Samehada. Sasuke confronts a fleeing Danzo. (Not sure if he fled or was looking for Sasuke) Sasuke unleashes his incomplete Susanoo and fires Arrows, Danzo uses his 10 Sharingan arm and uses a move called Izanagi to avoid death. Sasuke eventually kills him, and stabs Karin to, Sasuke is on his own. Naruto confronts Sasuke, and the two clash. Naruto says he will die with him, Sasuke wants to have Itachi's eyes to kill Naruto with full power.
I covered the whole Kage Summit arc right there, anyone else care to summarize the arc after that?
