Abra has Teleport. Magikarp has Splash.
Both are in a pokemon battle with the same amount of PP.
Who would win?

There are three scenarios
1.They both die of old age-No Winner
2.Abra uses teleport and leaves the battle-No experience gained no winner
3.Depending which one is the trainers pokemon- Pokeball wins

Abra evolves sooner than Magikarp. Kadabra uses Confusion. GG Magikarp.

Depends on what feats you use anime or game. Game dictates abra evolves first. Anime whenever magic carp gets raped it evolves. Hyperbeam spam.

The game. I guess this goes to Abra.

As for a serious answer as to who would win and why, there are several unestablished factors. The OP doesn't state what level said pokemon are, nor whether they're trainer owned(would decide whether Abra can simply escape or not), nor what game generation this battle would take place in(the move "struggle" works differently in each new game generation).

Were we to assume that: 1. Abra can't escape, 2. they're both the same level, 3. they can struggle endlessly until one of them falls, and 4. The move struggle works the same way as it did in the 4th generation games, then Magikarp would win simply because it's got a better defense(allowing it to take less damage from Abra) and because Abra's faster, meaning the recoil damage that's equal to a 1/4 of its max HP will catch up to it before Magikarp would be able to take its final turn.

Of course, were this battle to take place in any of the previous generations of the game, the match would be pretty even. Though Magikarps base defense is still higher than Abras, and neither have much of a attack stat to brag home about, though Abra's Attack stat is a bit higher.

Well by default rules, its autoBL
By pokemon rules, BL is basically a free evolution for karp.
So magikarp auto-evolves via anime feats.

Either it's a tie,
OR
It's a pokebattle and a trainer uses rare candy evolving and/or giving them a new attack that inflicts damage.

Abra is like.... 8 lbs?
Magikarp uses splash and then splashes on the face of abra.
Crushes Abra under its like 30lb body

I imagine that eventually it will get chilly outside, and all that splashed water could give Abra a cold. This could lead to hypothermia in which Abra would go into shock and die.

You are all aware that going the highest level of wild pokemon, Magikarp is the highest 81-100.

+1

Wait...isn't the BG default location the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?

Magicarp suffocates and dies due to lack of water. Abra goes to sleep. The end.

Abra could win by two ways

-Teleport into magikarp and pull the matrix and blow it up from the inside -he could teleport to the nearest sushi shop and tell him about the free fish down the road

. . . -he could teleport to the nearest sushi shop and tell him about the free fish down the road

How?? Abra has shown no ability to be able to talk ever in the anime, manga, or games!!! Give me feats from the manga that shows that he can do this or everything you've said is invalid!

Nah, just messing with you. What if someone really took this fight that seriously?

GG

Proof that abra has a spoon.
Also since its auto-BL, I'm still wondering if, by anime rules, that means magikarp auto-evolves?

One of its held items in the games is the twisted spoon.

You can't teleport in a battle via game mechanics. http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff286/nfforums/NF%20smilies/kruemelmonsteryn0.gif
