Kabuto will get boned, literally...
There is no way Pre-TS Kabuto can ever match Kimimaro. He took repeated hits against Tsunade(slowest known kage by feats and also rusty at that time) and that was after taking the "pill".
Kimi should win this without much dificulty.

Chakra Scalpel can cut through normal bone as if it were cheese. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if he could cut through Kimimaros bones with it. Kabuto might win at close range, he's faster. But asides that, things like Dance of the Seedling Fern should kill him.

I must have read the Kabuto vs Tsunade fight a thousand times and never have I seen any indication that Chakra Scalpel is capable of cutting normal bone, much less Kimimaro's.

What are Kimimaro's feats exactly?

Raping Lee. Raping Gaara. Tanking Gaara's best attacks. He would have killed Gaara but he died at the very last second(which somehow completely removed all the momentum behind his attack, which by all rights should have killed Gaara...)

Damn. Well, since he raped both Lee and Gaara, I'd say he takes this.

Chakra Scalpel is used by every medic under the sun, to cut through skin, bone, muscle etc. without making any visible damage. Kabuto can simply use it to such degrees that he can use the scalpels offensively over long periods of time.

Skin and muscle, yes. Bone, no. Show me it cutting bone.

Considering Kabuto sliced through Yamatos wood attacks with relative ease he shouldn't have difficulty slicing through bone. It isn't all that much stronger, especially seeing as how Yamatos wood attacks are fairly sturdy - capable of immobilising targets as strong as KN4.

So what you're saying is, you don't actually have any proof. Color me shocked.

What does wood have to do with anything?

If you use common sense you should be able to work out its capable enough to cutting through bone. But meh, f you wanna be narrow minded with feats, go ahead.
EDIT: Sturdy wood roughly = bone. Use common sense.

Lady Tsunade, wood is weaker than bone I'm afraid. Here's why. Wood is softer and can be cut or shapped easily. Bone has impressive strength. Roughly 3-4 times that of concrete. Also, if you compare wood to steel, the obvious answer would be steel. Steel is used in buildings, and the strongest of steel can survive Hurrcane-Tornado force winds, flooding, fires, and sometimes, even bombs. Wood on the other hand can be broken with bitter ease. Infact, if you grab a stick of wood, you can easily break it into 2 pieces. Now, if you compare steel to bone, the answer would still be steel. You see, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica, compact bone specimens have been found to have tensile strength around 20,000 psi (pounds per square inch). "Mild" steel, has a tensile strength around 70,000 psi. Therefore, steel is stronger than bone.
But this isn't the whole story. You see, steel is 4.5 times heavier than bone, so bone is stronger than mild steel on a per-weight basis.

Kimimaro's bones won't be cut by Kabuto. It's said to be stronger then metal. In order for Kabuto to do any damage with a chakra scalpel, he would need to 1) get close and attack upfront but Kimimaro can easily create a bone to stop that attack the way he did with Lee. Kabuto's only chance is an attack from underground. After all, Kimi showed no feats that suggest he can evade something like a an attack from underground.

Depends on the wood. And on the bone. Yamatos wood, the wood Kabuto broke is capable of tempoarily binding a gigantic octopus' and bound KN4 for a while I believe. A wooden is stick is a retarded example since obviously it can be snapped easily. Pretty sure Kishi doesn't consider Physics when he's writing the manga. Generally Steel>Wood. Steel also>bone. It has no relevance.
If I dropped a large bark of wood on your foot it'd break no doubt. Bone isn't that sturdy.

Still don't change the fact that Kabuto simply can't cut through Kimi's bone. So all your explaination really don't matter.

No offense, but no. If you drive a CAR over a bone, its going to break. Cars drive over concrete 24/7 and i don't see that breaking. At least not as fast as bone would.

Not really. I'm not trying to prove Kabuto can cut through Kimis bone. I'm trying to prove Kabuto can cut through regular bone. When I make an explanation its to make a point.

Ok The size of the bone is relative. But technically a bone is stronger then a typical wood of the same size. Also there are some parts of the human bone that is softer then a typical bone.

So then, Kabuto can't cut Kimimaro's bones and would still get raped even if he could(which he can't. :))
