I haven't played Sonic games in ages.

A while back I used to play Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and Sonic Heroes. Pretty fun games, I might come back to them eventually.

I played some others too, like the Sonic Rush games, and unfortunately, Sonic and the Black Knight.

I love the Sonic games. I don't care what the reviewers say, most of the games are not that bad. I even liked Sonic 06(heck I even got a new second favorite character out of that game!) My favorite characters are Shadow, a tie between Silver and Blaze for second, and Tails in 3rd.

I never really played any of the old-school sonic games, are they good? I think the closest I've gotten to play the Oldschool Sonic games would be playing Sonic Advance for the GBA. Lol. I've ALWAYS wanted to try the Sonic fast food place!! Their food looks SO GOOD!! :D

I am sonic has came a long way but in my opinion needs to die. There is no real point to playing those games except kill time.

thats the same with all games basically. we could all be doing something more productive with our time...

iuno personally i dont like the 3d sonics, too much walking and battling, no emphasis on speed, which is what sonic has always been about.

so many people bashed the shadow the hedgehog game but really what was so bad ?

Not as bad as people make it out to be, but it wasn't especially good.

Mainly they killed Shadow's image. He lost any interesting personality he once had. I won't lie, I was a Shadow fan and I still think that back in SA2 he was a pretty interesting character. In StH though, he was a boring character and the dialogue was just painful. The voice acting being worse didn't help any either. I especially laughed at one part when Shadow said something like "This ends here, and this ends now!" It was so corny I couldn't help but laugh.

The gameplay was tolerable, but not as good as SA2's. The vehicles weren't so great though and the weapons weren't all that good to use, with a few exceptions. It seems like they tried to change too much and it didn't flow smoothly.

It wasn't a horrible game, but it left a lot to be desired for fans of previous games like the Sonic Adventure games and Sonic Heroes.

I personally like the old school games and the first 3 3D games (SA, SA2 and SH). Shadow's game wasn't HORRIBLE but honestly giving him guns and vehicles was STUPID. He's supposed to be as fast as Sonic who last I checked could move at the Speed of SOUND (600MPH) which is faster than any vehicle can do. Also I liked the Demo for Sonic 4 but I dunno if it's worth 15 bucks *is broke anyway so I can't get it either way*

Oh, yes. Those are the only Sonic games worth playing nowadays unless Colors is good. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are the greatest Sonic games in my opinion aside from the nostalgic first Sonic the Hedhehog. Some other titles worth playing are Sonic Heroes (Gamecube), Sonic Battle (GBA), and...Sonic Advance, which you mentioned.

Sonic does have great food. Their specialty shakes and drinks are excellent, but their food is...above average.

I honestly think it's the best Sonic game since Sonic Heroes, which was the beginning of the end. Sonic Colors actually has a somewhat nostalgic feel.

Depends on what you mean by "short." I'm probably half way through the game right now after playing like three hours worth of time.

If you get the chance, get it. The graphics and attention to detail is awe-inspiring. It actually feels like a Sonic Adventure title to me...

There's only a few things I was dissappointed in...

There was no opening cutscene. It just started with zone 1, act 1.
Multiplayer is lacking.
No more spin dash...

Well, later on, after like act 2, there's a flashback of them entering the park, but I would have much preffered an opening cutscene...

Good. It's just randomley generated levels in a simulator. You can't even play real levels in multiplayer...:???:

Now there's something much cooler though. When you press B, the Wisp energy you have can be used as a speed boost. Plus, the Spike Wisp actually has the Spin Dash, I guess you could say...

I just remembered how much I hated Knuckles' and Rouge's dessert stages in Adventure 2.I also hated the ARK stages in Shadow the Hedgehog.

all the old 2-d plat form sonic games were the best,and sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2 battle were also good,sonic heroes was ok,but after that they went downhill. shadow the hedgehog was a fail in some spots,good story line and all but they added cussing to the game,really,a cussing sonic game,i have no problem with bad words but why would sonic team make sonic characters cuss,kinda weird how they added guns but cool at the same time. and all the other sonic games like sonic rings and black night also fails,black knight was to short and secret rings,dont even get me started with that one,ill say sonic unleashed was ok,but there all fails,and i hope sonic colors is actualy good,sonic free riders i wouldnt even waste my time with that,but if they dont start making there sonic games btter,they'll have to go back to 2D platform,it was always the best

I stopped playing the Sonic games after SA2. StH didn't look really good to me, and SU looked dumb. I played it at my cousin's house once and it was alright, but I didn't like it. Plus I don't have a 360, PS3, or Wii to play the others. D:

Though I'm lucky I have a Sonic right behind my school. xD I ditch sometimes just to get one of their shakes. The Snickers one is awesome, but I've never eaten anything but tots there, so I don't have any say on the food. xD

The show IMO was boring, though the last episodes with Cosmo were pretty interesting. Anyway, Rouge and Cream were probably the only characters I didn't get annoyed with...

Chris was the most annoying...EVER IMO. His name should've been 'Sonic's Lover' instead of Chris. :lol:

So today I played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle with my friend today.

Some of the dialogue was corny but I find that the game actually was pretty fun, flaws and all.

Hopefully Colors is as good as SA2B was, that game made for good childhood memories.

I liked SA2 2-player as well. It was actually quite enjoyable, races and shoot fights and all.

SA2 is probably my favorite Sonic game. Great music, fun levels, and back when Shadow was actually an epic character. I won't deny it, I'm a SA2 Shadow fan, but after that he became like another Sasuke.

Of course Super Sonic isn't practical. It's over the top awesome. He was always way too fast. I remember in Sonic 3 once I got Super Sonic my friends would get all RAGE cause I was going too fast for them as Tails to keep up with me.

Now I'm bored with the game and have nothing else to play...
