Man, I wish this fight could have happened in the series. The battleground is the place where Aang and Ozai fought. Comet power is on.

I give the edge to Iroh for experience. Lightning won't do Ozai no good. Iroh was the dude what invented lightning redirection.

The question that must be asked is this before or after Aang takes away Ozai's fire bending. Either way I give this fight to Iroh.

The problem is we never seen Iroh fly or maneuver that much although then again Iroh has impressive reactions and reflexes and he has shown the biggest fireball in the entire series. I don't think Ozai's fire can get past Iroh. And if Ozai uses lightning then Iroh is going to win.

Didn't he fly when they were taking back Omashu? :hmm

He never moved if I recall. He just stood in one place. First above the giant rock and then later in front of the Palace I think burning off the Fire Nation Flag.

He never flew during the attack on Ba Sing Se.
But with powerscaling, he should be able to.

Also, Ozai only ever showed flight with Sozan's comet, correct?

I think Iroh should take this,
he has more battle experience,
his fireballs show more destructive power, for example busting through the walls of Ba Sing Se.

And he can redirect any lighting shot by Ozai.

The only non-comet feat Ozai has is shooting lightning at Zuko after the Day of the Black Sun.

So wait, with Iroh's fire skills and lightning redirection stuff, can Ozai even really hurt him?

Ozai's firebending is at least on par with Iroh. Lightning redirection is really the only thing Iroh has on him.

We don't know if his firebending is on par with Iroh.
We never really saw him use it outside of Sozin's comet.

Well Ozai has feat advantage due for having shown athletic ability for rocket jet feet and spamming giant fire blasts.

Although Iroh has shown the biggest fire ball in the series, he himself stated he wasn't sure if he couldn't take on Ozai and defeat him so who knows.

We don't know if his firebending is on par with Iroh.

Iroh's statements.

Plus this fight is on with comet so.

didnt really get to see much of what iroh could do.

but most of the time the older sibling wins so i

go with iroh.

I think that Iroh would win because he knows more about firebending then his younger brother

Plus busting through the wall of Ba-Sing-Se with a single fireball is a pretty impressive feat.

Ozai's got firebending, so does Iroh. Ozai's got lighting attacks, but Iroh can redirect it (after all he was the one to invent that move). So from the looks of it, they both are kinda even. But I'll give it to Iroh for battle experience. Since we seen more of what he's capable of then Ozai.

Just re-watched the series and discovered that Iroh can shoot lightning, not just redirect it.

Episode is "Bitter Work" in Book 2.

I guess he just chooses not to use this ability.

Iroh wins.

There's no way that Ozai can redirect lightning.
As X said, he has the ability to shoot lightning.

Everyone seems to forget the fact that Iroh can shoot lightning, but he showed it in one episode, he just never seemed to use it every again.
