I dont get this team wha is ther purpose or operations
i mean on the team is Ino Shino Hana And Kiba
Ino's skills are along the lines of capture interrogation and information gathering. O and medical skills
Shino's skills are information gathering and somewhat ambush
Hana's are most likely Tracking and definitely medical skills
Kiba's Tracking...

So is the special ops team a tracking team or what id like to know

The primary goal is to achieve a political or military objective where a conventional force requirement does not exist or might affect the overall strategic outcome
So basically like the Root or Anbu.

Sneaking doesnt really make sense, every one of the Akatsuki are supposed to be able to sense Chakra to even the slightest degree, that might even include Zetsu clones, since its more than likely that Madara will spread them out, being seen is a bit obvious, unless Shino can hide his Chakra, which I think he's capable of doing if im mistaken, other than that, it seems like Spec Ops is a waste of Manpower unless formed for a specific target in mind, say a Zetsu Grower 9001, destroy that, no more Zetsu's :lol:

Nah i disagree Naruto and killer bee wont be arriving til late if at all. Remember the whole reason is to keep the jinchuriki safe. so sneak attacks are needed. A sneak attack can etheir gewt straight to the sorce of the fight or just change the tide of the battle period

To be real about it, all ninja are essentially "special operators." I'm skeptical of the entire ninja world setup, or rather that Root and ANBU seem to be the real ninjas. The whole point of ninjas traditionally is assassination and spying. Kishi has just altered the common understanding of what a ninja is and does. "Ninjas" like Choji are just soldiers, really. But if you get to be a demigod through ninjutsu, I guess it doesn't really matter.

Still, the characters in the special operations division mostly make sense: Shino and Kiba are extremely good at spying and tracking. Ino is a capable mind-rapist, though I question her utility in every other respect.

Now that we know that the zetsu army is going via underground, the spec ops might have no one to ambush. Unless the Inuzuka can sense that they're underground.
