garra without the sand spirit

hey does anybody know if garra can still use the sand even after the akutski stole his sand spirit

I heard for some people that it wasn't really stolen, he still has it, it's just unlocking him. Don't ask me, but yeah he can still use sand or he wouldn't be a ninja/kazekage.

he can use sand still im not sure if he sleeps..... the one tail spirit was frightening so he couldnt sleep is what i heard
