I would say listen to the Shippuden game voices but sometimes they use a different voice actor for the games and anime. Quinton Flynn doing Deidara in the anime was awesome!

hes kinda right guys, they just mentioned "new naruto". As you should know, the dub still has 10 episodes left to air on CN (but if naruto's cancelled then we wont see them). by new episodes they could mean these and the beginning of shippuden, but who knows.

Well I checked Tvguide.com and it says CN will show Naruto at 9:30 Saturday April 11th. As to the April 4th thing, maybe that's when they will give an announcement??? not when they are going to show shippuden. Actually, anime wasn't as highly rated on cartoon network as you'd think, atleast not compared to Family Guy and Futurama. The reruns of those shows pretty much run the whole network.

Toonami was the best thing to ever happen to CN, I remember the original Tom, he was awesome. They even used to air Rurouni Kenshin back than too! That is one of my favorite anime shows of all time.

i think it will be out before christmas just due to the amount of fans they will lose and they have done MORE than 18 episodes, but at the time they made the trailers they had not done 18 episodes, because if you watch all the words spoken are from the first three episodes. Just to give you an idea, (I'm sorry for not sourcing this) an old ANN article mentioned that the studio would have Naruto part 1's dubbing finished by the end of 2008. (This was back right after the Sasuke retrieval arc) so if you want to extrapolate how many episodes they can dub in four months, go ahead.

Here's a calculation I've been spreading on TV.com. On October 10th 2007, we've been watching Naruto two episodes at a time until september 20th 2008. If we had been watching episodes one at a time, Shippuden would naturally arrive in late July. Since there are eleven episodes left of part 1, if they were showing it one episode at a time, it would be starting soon.

Of course, that's looking less likely as it did two months ago, but if they're planning on showing two episodes at a time until shippuden then in a month's time we'll have new episodes.

It'd be nice if Shippuden started next month or June, since it's getting towards the summer and people have more free time. And yeah, as far as I've heard, they've kept the same voice actors for the characters.

My guess is that they probably ran out of episodes they had finished dubbing and have decided to get all the dubs out of the way for part I. That way, while part I dubs are airing, they can get the dubs ready for Shippuden instead of waiting longer after part I for Shippuden to be finished and released.

They've already finished dubbing part 1 and the actors have confirmed that they have something like 18 or more Shippuden episodes dubbed already. This is more of a "starve them so it tastes better when they get it" or a legal issue.
