Here I'll post the pictures that I created from GIMP. I just installed it yesterday so I'm a beginner at it.

I don't recomend GIMP.

Try photoshop. It kick ass. I think paint is better then gimp. LOL.

Its so easy to get it for free.

If your gonna start out with something, try photoscape. At least it helps me as a photographer a lot.

Just use Photoshop, because it's the most powerful photo editor on the market, and because it's industry standard (which means if you like this sort of thing, you may end up making money with it).

I like the Andy Warhol-type one, but avoid lens flairs like the plague. It's not that they look bad, but they are cliche.
