Sasori would've killed Sakura with the sword, so if he can get Gaara with it, the end.

He can't reach Gaara.... Gaara can just stand there and Sasori with his sand.

Iron sand never has shown the ability to reach as far as Gaara has been able to fly up into the air. Sand Smushes Mr Pinnochio GG

Exactly Gaara can beat Sasori easlily without his poisonus weapons and 100 puppets.

If Sasori has the third kazekage then Gaara sand won't have a chance, unless his actions are faster then he would crush the puppet. But since he relies on his sand to protect him, all Sasori have to do is use those fire and water scrolls.

The water shooters are the only thing that may be able to reach sasori but they are anime only so they don't count. The flame throwers wouldn't reachgaara if he is in the air. and Iron sand won't reach gaara. So gaara makes more sand then crushes Sasori with more sand then he can handle

Even with 100 poisonous puppets, Gaara ftw. The puppets can jump but not really fly, and they'll never reach Gaara even if that were the case. Gaara could wait for the puppets to crowd him and then crush them all at once, and I have no reason to believe the poisoned weapons would ever reach Gaara through his defense. Then he'd crush Sasori, who would be trapped on the bridge with limited mobility: all Gaara would have to do is bar the exits to the mainland and island with sand closing in like a vice, 360 degrees around the bridge.
