The moment Sakura gets serious with Naruto is the moment the clock starts ticking. If you like Sakura, pray that she's barren as the Sahara, or she's likely got only nine months left to live.

Why? It's a running theme in Naruto that love = DOOM!

I don't take anything in Naruto seriously, because it's fiction. You see, part of my amusement is seeing her as an abuser, because I know very few people would find it good wholesome fun if the roles were reversed, whatever Kishimoto's intentions, whatever the arguments. For most, the arguments against Naruto's behavior in that scenario (even if he and Sakura were equal in strength) would be as strong as your arguments for Sakura's behavior. Calling it abuse is calling out that little hypocrisy. And that is fun for me.

My point is they're both abuse. The fact that one is seen as humorous by many doesn't change that. The author is asking you to either buy into a stereotype that isn't even a real stereotype at all in the world he's created, or accept abuse as funny. I find that pretty entertaining, so it pleases my quirky side to call Sakura an abuser.

That goes even more so for SasuSaku & NaruHina, and it will be settle during the final fight between Naruto & Sasuke.

I hope you're right. That would be a logical conclusion, except that I'm currently skeptical of how seriously the manga is taking relationships in general, apart from the central conflict. Meh. We'll see.
