Ino doesn't need Mind Transfer, most of the time it hinders her anyway.

I[m not saying that Karin is better, I'm saying with Ino's only attack restricted, Karin wins with superior tanking skills, since practically all of their other abilities are equal.

She showed some minor taijutsu skill and ninja weapons.

Ino is a medical ninja so that should help her counter Karin's durability. Besides, Karin's durability can't give her the win if her neck's been sliced by a kunai, or something.

Karin hasn't shown kunai in the manga, as far as we know she is just a medical tracker ninja.

Karin can;t heal herself anyway. She can only heal other people. And it seems to be used only as a last resort, and only good for one use. Meaning its actually pretty crappy overall. Inos healing abilities are much better. Since she can actually control the amount of medical chakra she uses.

Karin has durability. Thats it. Ino has basic Taijutsu, and some basic medical abilities. Chakra Scalpel to the head ends it.

All medics have a chakra scalpel. They use it to make incisions in the body without making any physical damage. I guess thats a little hype inclusive but. I believe she does have one, how else can she perform surgery? :o
