Jiraiya starts in Sage Mode and Guy starts in sixth gate.

Who wins?

seriously im thinking jiraiya if he can giant rasengan spam or uses the toad genjutsu but if guy can avoid that and get a decent hit in he can probably win by following up with a morning peacock (doesnt know the japanese name) im assuming this is jiraiya with ma and pa toads for unlimited sage mode and toad genjutsu

XO thats a HARD 1! if jiraiya hits guy hes done but itd be sooo hard 2 hit him and jiraiya has amazing stamina in SM. does guy stay in gates and can he go all 8?

At only 30 metres. Gai could probably close the distance and deliver a OHKO kick to Jiraiya right from the beginning. Jiraiyas best bet is Summons. But summoning them takes time. Gai is also faster than Jiraiya. So, I find it more likely Gai will win.

Top tier has to possess supersonic+ reactions at a distance otherwise it is pointless.

And OBD decided 6 Gated Gai attack speed would be minimum of Mach 7 due to most of the real life scenarios comparable to Morning Peacock are low hypersonic but take it as you will. I don't care.

Distance is important here.

Although I doubt one kick is going to end SM Jiraiya.

I gonna have to go with guy on this one. Jiraiya can come up with some interesting counters like that toad stomach but Guy speed will outstrip Jiraiya. Honestly never knew guy was that strong.

He was pretty much good as dead, but Gai didn't want to kill him.

If Kisame was at full power with Samehada their would be no way gai would win.
Kisame has said he can't beat Jiraiya (I think it would be closer than he said) but thier is no way Jiraiya would lose to Guy.

PS: Kisame wont die.

It is arguable that SM Jiraiya has better tanking ability. Tanking few meters of steel or concrete.

Although by feats Kisame has shown better.
He barely lived through the V2 Killerbee lariat.

kisame said that he AND itachi cudnt beat jiraiya but i dont think thats true. i think guy wud win actually cus he destroyed 30% kisame clone in six gates and he cud still jump through the trees when lee cudnt stand after the fifth
