Gaara is better than Saskue!

Well, I don't like either that much anymore, so I can't really say who's better. It all depends on what kind of "better" you're talking about; strength wise, fighting style, their personalities, etc.

Though IMO, Gaara is a better character (as in, personality). Sasuke beats the sh*t out of him in battle though.

gaara is better personality wise. the only reason he lost 2 dedira cuz his primary concern was 2 make sure the ppl n his village r safe plus saskue gotten weaker 2 he lost orochimaru's power fighting itachi his lighting style attack wouldn't work on his sand and his sand easily protect aginst saskue fire jutsu since when can sand catch fire?? gaara can now hav his sand elevate him in2 the air and saskue will not be able 2 touch him and in the l8er naruto origanal series when he was teaching mitsuri he shoed his talents go far beyond just using sand.

Gaara lost to deidara because he had to protect the village. Sasuke won because Kishi loves him and keeps pulling haxxes outta his ***(eye).

Sasuke. His shadowy looks and attuide give him a strong base for fighting. He also has those dreamy eyes and tells you what he thinks, un like Garra who just kinds says nothing.

This all depends on personal preference.

I like Gaara more because his emotional maturity transcends that of most teenagers his age; instead of giving up and crying all "woe is me" like Sasuke, Gaara embraced his difficult experiences which in turn gave him a greater sense of empathy. Sasuke's emotional maturity is just ludicrous at this point in the story.

In terms of fighting, however, Sasuke wins with his ridiculous hax and broken abilities thanks to Plot no Jutsu. :lol:

Just because Gaara lost Shukaku it doesn't make him weaker, considering that Gaara has been working on using his own powers than using the Shukaku's I feel that he is still strong, because he was working on not using the Shukaku's Powers since the last Series in the Original Naruto, and Gaara only lost to Deidara because he brought the lives of thousands of people into the picture, if Deidara didn't bring the Village into it the Chakra he used on saving the Village would have gone on Deidara which at that time Deidara was already desperate and didn't have much Chakra while Gaara still had all that Chakra that he used on saving his Village.

So in a fair fight Gaara would most likely have won against Deidara. So out of Sasuke and Gaara, it may appear that Sasuke is stronger though we never did see Gaara's true potential against Deidara so there is a possibility that Gaara could still defeat Sasuke, plus the Chakra Natures are on Gaara's side considering he is Earth and Wind, the only Chakra Nature of Sasuke's that would pose a problem is Fire because of Gaara's Wind Nature but he has the sand there so he would be able to defend against that too.

So most definately Gaara has a chance at defeating Sasuke, the only real thing that would possibly cause Gaara trouble is Sasuke's Amaterasu and other Sharingan-Based Abilities.

If we do then we must compare Sasuke at the start of Shppuden with Gaara and I think Gaara would win that fight. Naruto and Sasuke have been getting stronger and I know Gaara has too.
