For anyone doing the Nuzlocke Challenge, come here to post your blogs or comics about your adventure. It's not a requirement of the challenge, but most people who do the challenge do it anyway.
If you're not sure about how to blog/write it, you can look up examples on the Nuzlocke site (http://www.nuzlocke.com/). It's pretty much like a mini fanfic though.

I'm just going to turn my challenge into a story. It'll be more entertaining that way. I'll update in this post for the chapters that follow.
Pokemon Ruby -HARD MODE- Diary of a Hero
Chapter 1 - Journey Start!
Kerchunk! I heard the trunk of the van open, and light started to finally shine in so I could see. I jumped out and I saw my mom come up to me.
"Ruby, we're here, honey! It must be tiring riding in the back with all of our things."
"Yeah, and dangerous as well! What if one of those crates had fallen over and crushed me?!" I boomed, angry from the dodging of crates I had done in the dark.
"Well, we're here now! This is Littleroot Town. It's our new home!"
"Ugh...Why couldn't we just live with dad up in Petalburg City?" I asked, rhetorically.
"Go fix up your room son..." She said.
I went to my room and set the time in my clock. I looked to my desk and saw a potion sitting next to my PC. I took it and put it in my backpack.
"I'll need this for when I become an even better trainer than--" I said, interrupted.
"Ruby!! Come here, your father is on television!!" Called mom from downstairs.
I ran down the stairs and caught a glimpse of my dad fighting a challenger in the Petalburg City gym. My stomache tightened. I wished so badly that he'd teach me to be as great of a pokemon trainer as he was. But sadly, that would never happen...The TV flickered off and cut short my time to watch dad fight.
"Dang television! Those stupid movers, they must not have hooked it up right! Ugh, Ruby, go introduce yourself to the neighbors while I hook this back up." She said, as she started messing with some wires.
I went out to meet the neighbors when a little girl ran up to me, "Help! Mr. Birch is being chased by a wild Poochyena! He's up that way," She pointed, "Please!"
I darted off in that direction, not caring to hear what she had to say next. I needed to save the professor! I figured he might be able to give me some pokemon training tips or something of the sort. I kept running and after a minute or so a man with messy brown hair came into sight. He was running and being chased by a Poochyena! It was Professor Birch!!
"Help! Quick, grab a pokeball from my bag and use the pokemon to fight this thing!! He knocked it out of my hands!!" He screamed, as he was running in circles to avoid getting torn apart by the savage looking pokemon.
I ran to his bag and pulled out the first pokeball I could reach. I threw it and sent out a Treeko. It saw the Poochyena chasing it's master, and pounded it hard with his tail. The wild Poochyena fainted.
"Thanks for the save, kid. Hey, are you that new kid who just moved here?! Meet me in my office a little later and I'll have a reward for you." He said, all in one mouthful, and took off.
"Wow...he didn't even let me say anything..."
~An hour later
"For saving me earlier, you can have...THIS!!" Birch threw a pokeball at me, "It's the Treeko that you saw earlier. He's yours now."
"Awesome!! Thank you Professor Birch!!"
"Don't mention it, if not for you then who knows what could've happened? Hey, can I ask you a favor?"
"I sent my daughter, May, out to check on some pokemon in the route above Oldale Town. I can see how excited you are about that Treeko, and I assume you're going to be a pokemon trainer. It's in your blood. I don't see her getting much better lately, and I was wondering if you could go see her. I think meeting you could inspire her to become a better trainer/researcher. And also, could you have a battle with her?"
"No problem, but I'd have to ask my mom first since it's far."
"I've got it covered. Go, I'm sure you'd both like to make a new friend right?" He laughed and went to his phone.
I figured he was calling my mom, so I left. I sent out my Treeko, "I'll name you Dylan!"
Together they walked towards Oldale Town, two beings who would soon hold a bond stronger than steel. Together they walked, to meet their newfound destiny...

Well that was entertaining while it lasted. I Game Overed. I'm not going to bother typing the rest of the story out. But it ends with Ruby hanging himself in the bathroom of the pokemon center. Ugh...Entire team got wiped. Then my last pokemon who was in a box got critical hit to death...Worst story ending ever.

Actually, the Nuzlocke blogs are meant to be like a story. You were doing fine. Mine's gonna be like most and be both sad and a parody, and of course dramatic due to it being Nuzlocke.
Anyway, who did you lose to? You can level grind (Fight Pkmn to lvl up), it's not against the rules unless you add it in (And it's a popular add-on). Same as in-healing battling, out-battling healing, and buying potions.

I was trying it without double using pokecenters...xD So it became too hard and I lost to Roxanne. Nosepass has too much defense for a treeko. That's why next time I'll take out that rule so I can grind.
