The filler episodes are boring. they don't stay true to the manga. for example in the manga Deidara and I capture the 3-tailed beast and it never had a host and hadent been contained since Konoha was formed. Kabuto never got involved. he is such a pest.
They remind me of poke'mon.

And yeah, I don't care for them much either...Yuukimaru is kinda cute, (okay, really cute) but he's getting on my nerves a little. ;D

I'll admit that this filler arc was completely unneccesary and I hope the anime will get back on track and not get derailed until, say the defeat of Akatsuki. The manga is way ahead.

I don't like fillers either. They suck because the genius creator Kishimoto didn't think up the plots for fillers.
It makes them seem...childish in a way. At least in part one...
Shippuden fillers are a little better.
Well, in the latest opening theme it shows Pein's eyes. So I guess the fillers are almost over. :mrgreen:

actuley they are way off cuz if i remember hidan and kukuzu helped seal 3 tails and obv now they are dead but i don't mind if it's not to long this one started good but is staring to drag and slow down ....and making me hate ino more and more every episode

Masashi Kishimoto drew Jinchuriki-hosts for all nine of the Biju. They're shown on the chapter page for Chapter 420: Battlefield, Konoha! . It's in the May 09 issue of Shonen Jump. No scans are allowed but I'm sure you could find it yourself. Kishimoto's design for the Three Tails-host matches Yuukimaru.
Anyway, I haven't really been watching this filler arc.. I agree they're not all that entertaining. I plan on marathoning the whole thing though once it is over. I tend to like it better that way. These filler storys just aren't worth waiting every week for. I'm anticipating the next cannon arc. Hopefully it'll be fast-paced and without filler.

Not really. His drawing of the three tails...well he has a weirdo scar thing under his left eye.
Sure his hair is the same color but It's shorter...Way shorter. Yuukimaru's eyes are purple. In the drawing the boy's eyes are pinkish.
And they have totally different wardrobes.
Yuukimaru is from fillers too. Kishimoto doesn't do the fillers.

I agree. I dislike the fillers very, very much. What exactly are they even filling now? Is there even a point? The amount of material they can get from the manga and animate it is unbelievable.
I hope we get onto the main plot soon... I want to see Sasuke kill Orochimaru.

Yeah, I know Kishimoto isn't involved in the fillers. Yuukimaru does seem to be based on Kishimoto's design at the very least though, which is good enough for me. I'm not saying that I accept this filler story arc as 100% cannon or anything. Just saying that at least Yuukimaru is taken from a cannon concept(even if it is a little altered).

I agree. Fillers can be very good sometimes. I kind of liked the last Shippuden filler. It just ended very badly in my opinion. Filler tends to be better in other series than Naruto though.

Fillers keep the anime from passing up the manga. I'd hate to have to go on a year long hiatus of anime episodes. Besides, its sometimes a nice breath of fresh air to not know whats going to happen.

The manga is still some one hundred chapters ahead of where the Japanese anime currently is, Naruto Part 1 had two full years of filler in a row before going to Shippuden, the first two story arcs of Shippuden were very slow paced, there has already been a filler arc in Shippuden, and there are often delays between episodes as they air each week in Japan. The manga is still being published every week in Japan while this is all happening, and Kakashi Gaiden still hasn't been animated yet(though it will be this Summer). The Naruto manga will probably be coming to an end soon anyway. So I havta disagree with filler being necessary here. In fact, I think it is completely unnecessary now. There's already enough space between the manga and the anime. But once this next cannon story arc starts, it will be hard to find another place to insert a filler story. So I think that may be why they're doing another filler. It may be the last one, while the next cannon arc goes interrupted at a fast pace.

Even if he didn't, he's working on another Manga too, which isn't published yet, and might not be.

The problem that Kishimoto may have is everything he does from now on will have to walk in the shadow of Naruto. I mean with the popularity of this manga, he is going to have some high expectations for his next work. Whether its fair or not, can he step up to those expectations?

I don't think that's possible. Naruto is and will remain #1 for all eternity. But, no doubt, his next work will be amazing! :mrgreen:
