When I that they WILL pass away... I mean because they have died in the japanease show. But they havent died in the English shows.

well...you guys are forgetting....we didn't feel sad about them dieing...we felt sad ABOUT how the students would take it....when naruto found out about jiraiya's death...he started crying, which made us sad.....then when asuma died, his team started cryin....iits not them dieing, it WAS wat happened, after they died...

deffiantly jiriya cuz asuma was cool but jiriya was more liked and had a bigger part and plus hes a funny perv how could u not miss that? =D

Wrong... Jiraiya was one of my favorite characters. That's what made me sad.

Jiraya was awesome, a great teacher, but I just dint feel anything coming from him.

Asuma's death was more tragic.
The only sad part about Jiraiya dying was when we saw Naruto and Tsunade cry.

But I really won't miss either of them; It was a good way for them to go.

and finally i miss jiraiya because although perverted, he had a heart of a diamond who cared not only for his village but the rest of the world. his an insperation to me

Jiraiya hands down! he treated naruto naruto like he was his son.
the 4th hokage was buds with jiraiya so when his wife had naruto, he wanted his son 2 be named after the main character in jiraiya's book, naruto.

I would miss Jiraiya more than Asuma because Jiraiya was integrated into the story a whole lot more than Asuma, so I feel a more personal connection with Jiraiya. I was extremely sad when both of them died though!`~(`~(

To me, both will be missed, because they were both important to the show in some way. Though I chose Asuma because of his expectant child, in my opinion that was rather cruel to separate him from the child. Also to leave poor Kurenai alone in her most vulnerable state in her life. He could have helped greatly with that child's life and it's growth to become a rather good and noble Shinobi.
