The best character in storm 1 (never had it) but I would guess from watching gameplay its Itachi his awakening is the best in the game and would kill had their been online play.

The best character in storm 2 you can tell their are tons but I guess it would be Deva Pain what ever his awakening is it will probably be one of the best and his combos with the other paths of Pain and his push and pull ability will be Killer.
