well... I guess I shouldn't say that... the English voices are making me curious =/ but I'd be sad to see some epic characters get screwed over with bad dub voices... and I will always love the subs more than the dubs...
I hope Funimation gets the dub (most of my fav. VAs are from Funimation LOL), though since Viz has the manga it wouldn't suprise me if they got the dub anime too =O
my guess is that Funimation will get the anime (because they have the subbed one)
and that it wont be dubbed until the manga ends, which shouldn't be TOO long from now ;___;
the anime shows no signs of being dubbed yet though so no need to fret about it now X3

I was hoping there might be some news about it at Anime Expo, but I heard nothing about it.

Even if it isn't dubbed any time soon, I would at least like some DVD's to be released in America or something, unless there already are but I haven't seen any.

KHR has a really slow start but then gets better.

The Kokuyo and Varia arcs are both pretty interesting imo and are worth a read.

Things get worse in the Future arc on but it's still tolerable.

The KHR anime is beyond horrible, bad censoring and terrible edits.

And lol @ you saying its still tolerable in the future arc, it became the worst ongoing Shounen along with Bleach after the Varia arc, with nothing but horrible plot, shitty fights & abilities and yaoi fanbait garbage.

Can't be sure about the anime but the manga is ok.

Imo Naruto is worse than KHR currently. KHR plot isn't that great but then again neither is Naruto's or Bleach's. The fights aren't nearly as great but it's not the worst thing around.

Regarding the whole yaoi thing, there is not yaoi in KHR from what I know, and as far as I'm concerned the fanbase of a series does not make it bad. Just because a bunch of gay-loving idiots may like a show doesn't mean the show itself is gay. I don't delve into the Yaoi crap because there is no need. I'm pretty positive that Naruto has its own worse share of bad yaoi, in the series and out of it. I mean, has any male in KHR ever hyperventilated for their boyfriend? Worse than anything in KHR itself.

The yaoi has absolutely no relevance if it isn't a part of the series, and since I don't bother with yaoi fangirls and their junk, it means absolutely nothing to me, and your point about the yaoi is moot because it's completely irrelevant.

You do realize that tolerable means you can actually stand what is happening, and as far as I know you are still keeping up with it to an extent, or at the least have some knowledge of the future arc. That said, even you still tolerate it to enough of an extent that you have seen it. You may absolutely despise it and think it is a horrible series, but tolerating something and liking it are two very different things.

I don't like current Naruto or Bleach but I can still tolerate them.

None of you guys actually seen the ANIME..its totally different from the manga. In Japan the anime was actually meant for kids(that was afer Season 1 the second opening was called"Boys & Girls". If it was like the manga then it would be different.

Like for example when Reborn shoots Tsuna with a Dying Will Bullet the bullet splits open and a fire comes out and goes inside Tsuna's forhead there is no blood and no piercing. And guess there is no filler arcs just filler episodes that dont even contain violence just family comedy relief.

The anime IS too childish. Come on, the quality is very poor, and no blood is ever shown. When Reborn shoots Tsuna, it turns into a beam, which doesn't happen in the manga.

I'd love to have it dubbed, but KHR isn't very popular in the U.S. Also, nice Varia picture. Prince the Ripper ftw~

However since KHR is more of a kid anime it has a high chance of getting on TV like Zatch Bell, Naruto, Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo, and DBZ.

I would prefer if Viz dubs it since I'm familar with most of their casts but Funi would be okay.

I prefer Disney XD better well the show suits the channel better than Naruto Shippuden. Its more of a family show in Japan so I wouldnt be surprised if it ended up on ABCfamily or ABCkids since just like DXD its owned by Disney/ABC. If Funi wantd to dub it they would've done it by now.....maybe I should watch more Funimation dubbed anime to get a better bearing of their voice cast.

I should point out first of all that I'm no fan of Hitman Reborn. I mean Masayoshi's Tanaka's character designs aside (same character designer behind Toradora and Highschool of the Dead), nothing about that show really grabs me. The beginning of the show feels too slow and even if 20 episodes in, it supposedly gets any good, the cheap animations won't help. And the characters don't make me want to care for show more so, especially that Hibari guy. How many anime shows need to have the serious silent type who can never crack a smile. And "I'll bite you to death?" Seriously? That's your catchphrase? I don't hate the show, it's just... "eh" to me.

Anyway rant aside, as much as I'm not a fan of that show, whenever I think of Reborn, I always imagine Richard Cansino, the voice of Kenshin, but with an Italian accent. I don't know why, but that's what I think of whenever I see Reborn.

It would never be on ABC family because of the violence and the fact that it isn't some stupid comedy about a single mom and her daughter. ABC kids got changed to jetix which went to toon disney which changed to disney XD so there is no more abc family.

ABC Kids is on channel 7. ABC Family shows Harry Potter and action movies occasionally as well as That 70's Show.

Oh that channel. It's for old disney shows that don't get played on disney channel. ABC family is for live action shows and movies, I haven't seen any animated shows on there yet. If there were to be one, it'd be a comedy.

Kekkaishi is more violent than Reborn(the anime). Also Kekkaishi is sometimes TV-14. In KHR there is as much as blood in it as there is much blood in the Naruto Shippuden DXD version. Plus Reborn is too bright and full of fun sunshine to be on AS, I mean yes there are times when its serious but so is all anime.

Either way the main question here isnt which channel it should end up on is if its goin to get dubbed in the first place and which company will dub it?

Are you sure I've seen the show and they actually removed Gokudera smoking.

There is some blood but there really isn't a lot and they only shown blood like 5 times so far...I seen so far that is.

The anime actually started out pretty violent but later becomes an kid show.

Breaking news: Katekyo Hitman Reborn has been confirmed to be dubbed in Italian for Italian television.......now lets see if it becomes really popular in Italy then either Viz, Funi, or someone might dub it.

First off I don't think that Bandai will dub it they only license mecha based anime like Gundam, Code Geass, and Gurren Lagann or something of the genre.
