Anyone going to an anime convention this summer?

I was just wondering is there ANYONE from here that's going to be at the otakuthon this summer? Its in Canada. I really would like to know who so maybe I could see them there! :) I'm going to cosplay as Sakura Haruno in Shippuuden! x]

Or just talk about if you've ever cosplayed as a Naruto character. Or if you'll be going to a convention this summer. :p

I went to one a few weeks ago with some friends. It was a small one, but it was my first one so it was fun. Bought an Akatsuki robe (now currently planning Tobi cosplay).

But apprently the highlight was by brother and mom (she's more addicted to gaming than me) glomping this guy dressed as Master Chief. And no, I am not making that up. I should have stayed at those lessons on glomping -_-.

Funny, because that's where I'm at right now. The one we went to was up in I believe Sandusky (hope I spelled that right), Ohio.

I wouldn't know. My mom mentions there was one coming up in August, but I have no idea where it is.

I just got back from AnimeNEXT in New Jersey, it was a blast! I also cosplayed Sakura. My next convention isn't until the fall, however..New York Anime Fest falls on my birthday this year so it's gonna be amazing. xD

you can go on Ebay...or amazon or Overstock.com

those has places and sometimes cheap...I suggest those three....I have had great responses on them...and i haven't had any problems with either three

I am going to be working at the saboten anime convention.

You don't have to be a looser, to like anime. (I hate those people spends time on disagreeing when they could be off having fun agreeing with things or proving a point)

THink of it as camp, but its with anime characters and you can for a weekend or a week of being something you are not and putting your own spin on things. ^_^

I actually recommended it, when you want to find likeness of live people and not net ^_^....no offence to anyone

I bet you can find one if you look hard enough!
but let me warn you, they are N0T cheap 0__0 entrance fees for big cons are around 50$ and smaller ones are between 20$ and 30$

I'm going to MegaCon with my dad, we do it every year. Its in march, and it normally a comic convention, but they combine it with anime too. It gets better every year!

I love the cons in FL. I've met so many hilariously grand people. I think Metro is my favorite, honestly... great guests, fabulous staff, and the atmosphere just plain rocks. :mrgreen:
