I actually read the books they were a terrible bore with little to no action but I read them.

I have a gold hammerburst a gold lancer and I have every current map and unlockable so yeah ^^

the second book was about them escaping jacinto and moving to an island then there was some stuff about the cog navy and stranded pirates and they were fighting surviving locusts but that summary was cooler then the books themselves so yeah

3 is gonna be 4 player co-op which is awesome with the story alternating between marcus and dom's team and cole and baird's team which is also awsome too I wanted to play out cole and baird's story since gears one and the lambent which used to be glowing/exploding locust are now horrible mutant locust as if they weren't ugly enough

Yep your right. I had the pleasure of meeting the maker of the game and try out the demo. IT IS FUN AS HELL.
