Its not imposible. Sasori is a long ramge fighter, he has plenty of options, Water Jets, Flamethrowers, iron sand needles....

Water jets are filler, they shouldn't be allowed unless you specifically say in the OP.
It's questionable if flamethrowers can reach Deidara.

Well, his 100 puppets can get to Dei, and Iron Sand World Order (or any of his Iron Sand moves) can destroy all of Deidara's bombs. Sasori doesn't need to breathe so he can keep his mouth closed during C4 and attack. I give this one to Sasori.

That's realy high. Even when he was above The hidden Sand he wasn't that high.

Half a kilometer is like 2,500 feet,
that's not that far.

He was probably actually higher then that when he attacked the sand.
