Overall , yes. Their Ino-Shika-Cho formation would not work. And a lot of their battle plans and such wouldn't be as effective. It would be effected a little in terms of battle. And in terms of the actual team. It would be greatly affected.

It really doesn't seem to me that Team Asuma would be effected if Ino wasn't there. She really has never done anything super helpful.

It's called the Ino-Shika-Cho team for a reason. They already lost Asuma; do you think Shikamaru and Chouji would be able to function without Ino as well?

Plus their Ino-Shika-Cho formations wouldn't work and they would have more difficulty with espionage missions because they wouldn't have Ino and her Mind Transfer. Remember when they were looking for Hidan & Kakuzu and when they were taking the Chunin Exams tests? Yeah.

Depends what the mission is, if the mission is to confront the enemy, then yes they would still be effective w/o Ino, if the mission is spying, then no.

I believe they'd be more affected by the loss of numbers more so than the loss of Ino specifically. Yeah, she's pretty much useless on her own, but a team's gotta have numbers.
