as you can see i made it so team asuma had the advantage. the time of day increases the length of shikas shadows and makes them harder to see, but still i think team gai wins their speed is just to much asuma and choji go head to head with lee and guy, neji goes for shikamaru and ino to distract them and ten ten uses her weapons to distract all of team asuma,
neji eventually gets shikamaru and ino then he uses 128 palms on both of them and he finishes them. asuma and choji cant keep up with lee and guy, and neji jumps in to help and with ten ten distracting them team guy finish off asuma and choji.

Ino Cant catch anyone on Tm Guy so Tenten Kunai Grenades here. Lee goes into Drunk Mode + kills Choji. Neji 128 Palms Shika. Guy + Tenten do a super Taijutsu Weopon combo for Asuma

im not underestimating shikamaru but he just doesnt have the speed to get away from neji and ino cant catch anyone except maybe ten with mind destruction.

There is no scenario in which Team Asuma could ever defeat Team Gai unless Plot no Jutsu were involved.

Gai: Strong enough to take on one of Akatsuki's strongest members.
Asuma: Dead thanks to one of its weakest.

Neji: A genius whose talents are actually useful.
Shikamaru: A so-called genius who relies on luck and plot to get through his battles alive and who has only got one good jutsu(Shadow Strangle or whatever), one that is actually pretty useless in this fight. And by "pretty" I of course mean "utterly".

Rock Lee: Nearly as powerful as Gai.
Choji: Subfodder.

TenTen:Fodder.
Ino: Subfodder.

When you say, "No Eight Gates" does that mean all the gates, or just the Eighth Gate? I think that Team Gui wins. With just Gui and Lee, they can easily doge Shikamaru's shadow moves, they can doge Mind Transfer Jutsu, and doge Choji's Expansion jutsu's. Then there's always Neji with the Buakugon, and his insane speed as well. And, Tenten just spam's kuni, and other ninja weapons.

where is Neji lee and tenten when all of this is happening???
ino left powerless is bombarded with explosive kunai. Neji would be after Choji. Lee after shika. when can ino use mind destruction jutsu. show me the manga reference.

That's true. I don't get how these kids think that Ino, and Shikamaru can get there jutsu's on them, team Gui is just to fast and better than team Asuma.

Team Guy easily takes this.

Guy casually blitzes Asuma and Lee can easily fight off Choji due to a speed advantage. Guy and Lee can easily defeat Asuma and Choji due to speed advantage.

Neji takes out Shikamaru pretty easily. One Gentle Fist hit and Shikamaru's a goner. Shikamaru isn't gonna catch Neji in Shadow Possession very easily and can't kill Neji very easily.

Tenten can take out Ino with Kunai Bomb. Ino is fodder.

If team Asuma uses teamwork, then Guy brings in Lee or Neji.

Characters are generally considered as current or as they were at their strongest before they died. So in Asuma's case he would probably be at his strength during the Hidan fight. I would say the others are current but they haven't shown any good feats since then so it hardly matters where the others are at. The rest of Team Asuma would probably be at their strength at the same time Asuma was at since they had most of their feats then, and Team Guy's feats would be from the 30% Kisame fight.

Whew, in that case this is one heck of a fight but I think team Guy would win.

Guy and Lee (even with weights) are incredibly fast not to mention Neji's nearly impenetrable defense. I think that Asuma and Shikamaru could eventually devise a tactic to take down team guy but Choji and Ino couldn't hold them off long enough. Ino might be able to use her Jutsu effectively on Guy or Lee but Neji would probably be able to break it, possibly those two also; The only person I know for sure would fall to it would be Tenten.

So even then Ino could take Tenten but Asuma and Shika are relentlessly out matched by Guy and Lee. Choji gets it the worst cause he has to handle Neji, that would suck.
