It's actually been said in an interview that it goes up to the Pain Invasion...don't know why people keep insisting it will go up to the Danzo fight. Though that would be nice, I'm still extremely happy that it is even going up to the Pain vs Naruto fight.

This is actually the first time I've heard that the story may go up to the Danzo vs. Sasuke fight. And there is an interview somewhere out there, too lazy to find it, that says how far the story goes.

yeah there's been no official conformation..but in the new review it says it is going up to where the naruto anime will be by the end of the summer in japan..cuz in the fall (when we get the game) the anime will obviously be way farther ahead then pain and naruto cuz thats comin next week

The producer only states that it goes up to the fight with Naruto and Pain. But I think we will have confirmation at E3.

I think the game only goes up to the Naruto vs. Pain fight. I think Pain would make the best final boss anyway.

I agree about Pain being the best final boss. I mean there are no real big bosses after that have fought in the Kage Summit Arc, and nothing happening yet in the 4th Great Shinobi War Arc.

Honestly, i don't think so, i'm clear in my mind that this game will go to the Invasion of Pain, where Naruto will fight Pain, i know some people have hope and think that will go to the Kages Arc, but for me that won't happen, and when we get NSUNS2, it will be the time when the Invasion will be ended, so i think everything is well planned

There's a new interview with one of the producers or developers that says it ends with Naruto vs. Pain. IIRC he specifically said "it starts from the beginning of Shippuden and ends with Jiraiya vs. Pain and Konoha's destruction". Something like that.

Anyways, just be patient until UNS3 comes out, then you'll get to fight as all the Kage's, Danzo, and whoever else you want. UNS2 already looks like it will be the best Naruto game BY FAR so just imagine what they'll do with UNS3.

I know you guys are hoping for it to go to the Kage Summit and/or the Danzo vs Sasuke fight but don't give your hopes up. It will most likely be going to the Pain vs Naruto fight, seems like a good ending battle for the game. Now they may add DLC to the game to expand the story but we don't know anything yet.

I too would die for it to go up to the Kage Summit. I want to play as Mei :(
