Favorite Team to use

I usually go with Lee, Kiba, Anbu and Gaara. I made Lee and Kiba really fast. Then I made my Anbu fast and gave it BLT: Enma and leaf hurricane. I took away Play Possum Jutsu from Gaara and was able to get his defense of to 723. I also gave him Stamina up rin and hyo. I know this topic has probably been posted before, but it should give us something to talk about.

In general Anbu is great because it's superiorly customizable. But this guys Anbu wasn't made to have very good attacks. I'd be fine with the Enma part but, not if the other tag was Leaf Hurricane.

I put Bring down the house and crystal Ice on the anbu. I'm just glad an anime game like this has such an online following.

It's for the better. Those moves are stronger and can be used when blinded or against reflection/sub.

I havn't maxed out anyones morale yet But Gaara's Stamina defenes and nin are maxed with pills. So is lee's speed kiba's speed and nin and anbu's nin. Maxing out the morale is my next project.

I'm only guessing you're talking about WiFi. Prioritize speed more so that attack power. Believe me, you'll get on WiFi and suddenly realize your guys aren't quite as fast as you thought they were.

That said don't cut out attack and defense completely, a basic rule is to never let something drop below 450 if you can help it. There will be some exceptions to this rule, like Lee's defense and Gaara's speed stats, but overall if you can keep you ATK and DEF above 450 and keep your AGI above 650, you should do fine against noobs and players without a strategy. Once you form your own strategy you can get a bit more creative with your tags.

1. Max out the Chinese Pills on your squad and max. out Moral for the squad leader.

2. In my opinion Buytime is a good tag to use for Hinata, Shik & Gaara because they do not need their attack increased. But Gutsy reserve is better for your other ninjas. (Except for Lee)

3. Typical Pro team: Agility? Lee is 733 w/ WOTN & 8 inner gate on him or 763 w/ only 8 inner gates. All the other ninjas in my squad have 640 to 700+ Agility. That's probably what every good player has on their squad. Use this as a starting point when you build your team.

I can't tell you how many times I have gone up against people who use Jiraya Naruto Orichimaru and Sarutatobi. Those are always the easiest to beat. Use characters that you can build. I would pick a team from these: Lee, Kiba, Sakskue, Neji, Gaara, Anbu and Shino(max out his defense and give him chakra control, he'll never run out of chakra).

Concerning Morale, I am having a similar problem that Ashen had in the faq thread. When doing the limited kumites, it takes forever to get a Genin rank becuase I leveled up my characters to high.

Usually for the last few limited kumites you need to wait bettween 50 and 100 turns before you can finally finish off the enemy.

Getting Genin in the normal Kumites is even worse. Between 150 and 200 turns you'll have to wait in like the last 3. X_X

After you beat the game you'll be at level 48-50 on your main squad. But the other genins will be level 24 if I'm not mistaken. It might be easier to get genin level. Anbu will be level 1.

I found that the ramen snack worked for all the character's morale I was trying to boost. my Naruto was 99. It took me 36 turns to get a genin.

I also switched out Gaara and made Saskue my alternate which was followed by about 2 hours of epic wifi.

Ino's really good for a WiFi character. It's true, I don't care that much for her character in the show, and while you're playing through this game she's not exactly the best character to use in battle.

On WiFi though, she's a beast and a terror to be had. The attacks that make her worth it can't be powered up and instead rely on the ATK stat of the opponents character that you target. That being said, seeing as you don't need to add in any tags to power-up her attacks you can focus solely on her Defense and/or Speed and still make her great.

The flaw to her is that she does crap for damage against people with teams that stress DEF. The upside is that if you build her for speed, even against high DEF teams she will likely get more turns than the other teams characters, which will give her the opportunity to confuse the other team more often.

ufff don't use that team, you may have a chance against guys who also use Top Secret Characters ( TSC ), but against pro people ( the ones who use Genins at their max level ), you'll lose ALWAYS. Seriouly. I invite you to check AshenReaper FAQ, stickied in this forum ( you can find it at GameFaqs too ), and after that, try out the basic Lee/Tenten combo and i swear you'll see your results improve a lot.

to get genin level in actuality you only need to keep pushing the defend button 40 times and you are set to get the morale item. To get genin level on the last few kumites you do not need to do 100 turns...... Besides, my morale is all maxed out on everybody except for TSC and I still need to finish up temari's kankuro's shino's and choji's.
