Do you think they are at Chuunin++ level? With few exceptions such as: Madara, Pein/Pain,...

I think. Itachi made Anbu when 13.

Well Tobi/Madara was a Mizukage back in the day.

They were/are all pretty powerful and high ranked. Which was/is S-Rank.

but in Akatsuki: Pein is the leader and the Riakage, Tobi is the mind-master, Zetsu is the spy and Konan is the Angel (named by Pein).

1) Itachi- High Level Jonin/ANBU and possibly Kage
2) Kisame- High Level Jonin/Kage
3) Hidan- High Level Chunin/Special Jonin
4) Kakuzu- High Level Jonin/Kage
5) Pain- Kage level
6) Konan- High level Jonin
7) Zetsu- High Level Jonin/ANBU
8) Deidara- High Level Jonin
9) Sasori - High Level Jonin/Kage
10) Madara - Kage Level

I base this off of feats but also battle styles..while Hidan wasa powerful opponent...his battle style was flawed due to arrogance so therefore he would have been a Chunin technically.

I say Itachi was possibly Kage because of the hype of his health.

Everyone else I listed is for sure that Rank or close to it due to feats etc.

Actually, I'd say that Konan is only Chunin based on feats. She barely showed any. Paper Manipulation isn't a huge feat.

Are you joking? Her paper was able to overpower Jiraiya's Fire style....Paper > Fire should not be possible if she was a mere Chunin level.

Oil is her weakness.

I believe that if something like Paper can overpower fire it would have to be skillfully used...did we also forget she took out a number of Chunin rank ninja-Jonin Rank ninja during Pain's invasion? She may be AT LEAST Chunin but she is closer to Jonin than Chunin imo.

EDIT: Not to mention she is now the Kage of Amegakure.

I was speaking generally. For example Chuunin>Genin, Naruto is Genin, and he could defeat Chouji who is a chuunin.
I`m just saying that ranks outside of Konoha are easier to get. It`s easier to become jounin elsewhere, that`s why I want Akatsuki members to be rated by Konoha standards.

they are all kage level ninja except for hidan he is a high jonin level, Konan and Zetsu haven't shown much yet but i'd say they are probably anywhere from high level jonin to kage level.

also if you remember, itachi says that if he and jiraiya fought, they would end up killing each at the same time. and jiraiya was considered for hokage so itachi would probably be on that level too. tobi was mizukage, and pain was a kage too, so most of them should be on kage level
