Anyone think Menacing Ball is a bit...cheap..?
For those who don't know, menacing ball are the Tailed Beasts' signature move, the one Naruto used when fighting Orochimaru and the one Killer Bee used when fighting Sasuke, where the user fires a large concentrated amount of chakra that completely disintegrates everything!

By my observations, all tailed beasts possess some form of it (Shukaku- Air Bullets, Cat- Giant fire ball, Turtle- Water ball)

What do you think about this Jutsu? Is it really fair?

Well, I think if it had a cooler name it would be less cheap. At first when I saw this thread, I thought it was some kind of cheap bouncy ball at Wal-Mart. XD It looks pretty cool, but knowing Kishi's talents, he could have created something cooler...

Might I remind you that there are other jutsu out there that can destroy entire villages by regular nija. I can think of two times where this almost happened.

1) When the leafe was being attacked and the bad guys resurected the dead nija from the land of fire and once they all get into position in the four corners or a village were to use lightning to destroy everyone inside.

2) The arch with the 7-tails and how the young girl had that special jutsu sealed away in her body. That also destroyed entire villages if in the wrong hands.

So no I do not see the tailed beasts using this technique as a bad thing. There are many other jutsu and techniques that can do major damage as well.

But the 2 tailed cat's Fire ball is also classified as menacing ball....and the 8 tails menacing ball is made of lightning and the nine tails is fire....so they are all elemental menacing balls

Good for them. But the Air Bullet is a Jutsu, not a menacing ball.

Isn't a Menacing Ball itself a Jutsu? Any technique used is a Jutsu, provided it attacks, defends, or heals.

those examples lack validity because they werent written by kishi but by crappy t.v writers as fillers.

a better example would be how pain could have destoyed konoha if naruto hadnt come.

Shukaku said it's a jutsu as he used it.

It uses chakra from its stomach, or something, combined with compressed wind, rather than gathering raw chakra like the menacing balls use.

Therefore they aren't menacing balls or else he would have said they were.

Besides menacing balls look like a large beam, whereas the Wind Bullets are bullet looking and can be fire rapidly

Yeah but the three tails menacing ball is a giant ball too....and menacing balls aren't always beams, the real jutsu is the actual ball...consuming it like 4 tailed naruto or just firing it directly is optional...the ball itself can cause a big explosion as seen in naruto vs pain
