Remember back to the battle of Itachi and Sasuke....

Zetsu was recording the whole battle, right?
Madara wanted to make sure that Zetsu showed him the whole thing.
What was he up to? Why did he care to see the battle?
What does it mean????

This is my connection:
1) maybe Madara really IS who he says he is, and he was only wanting to see the fight for himself because he wanted to use it so that he could better make up a lie to fool Sasuke into siding with him.
Either way, we KNOW Madara is manipulating Sasuke.
or
2) perhaps Madara ISNT who he says he is, and he only wanted to see the fight so that he could make Sasuke believe he was really Madara.

I'm not saying 2 is the truth, and the only reason why i even believe that Madara is the real deal is BECAUSE of his knowledge of the Uchiha incident.
However, we cant leave out the fact that Zetsu supplies Madara with a LOT of info. How easy would it be for Tobi/Madara to make up a lie with Zetsu around?

It is an interesting observation.

It's really hard to say since we don't know how Zetsu "records" battles. Or how he "replays" them. Tobi could fake being Madara just because of the information Zetsu recorded, especially if Zetsu was present at the Uchiha Clan Massacre. But I still think Madara=Tobi.
