Season 7 filler, unusual content

Hey there, it's my first post. I just finished watching the filler arc of the shippuden season 7 about the six-tailed but i found it kinda unually "explicit" if you know what I mean...;) Well, who would thought filler characters like Ukataka and especially Hotaru (since I'm a guy, lol) would have such "outrageous" (can't find a better word, sry) physical features and appearances! It is by far the most audacious filler arc that I have ever seen since the very first time I laid eyes on this show. I don't see the purpose why they would put such "fan services" in this season and I feel ashamed to admit it, but I really enjoyed those "distractions":oops:. I think without those fancy moments this arc would suck. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I divagated too much, who knows?

What do you think about this filler arc? Was the spicy elements in it really necessary? Why do you think the director did that?

Why would you be ashamed, jiraya had more explicit stuff around him then Hotaru and utaka would ever have. It gets the persons attention. most people dont care.

But, Hotaru did have a good voice, and pesonality.

i agree, hotaru is WAY better than the rest of the annoying female filler characters before.

I don't know, the thing with Hotaru shocked me at first, but it made sense. It was a pretty good story arc.

For those that read the manga, we know that Pain will be coming soon. This filler just got in the way of that.
