That was so tragic if anybody saw episodes 152-153 of Naruto Shippuden. Fukasaku told the sad news, which Naruto took it hard. Jiraiya was a father and grandfather to the hero. They both shared a lot of adventures with training jutsu especially during their search for Tsunade. Naruto took their sad news of Jiraiya's deaths eriously. Have a say on this sad and tragic moment.

Naruto is obviously sad about Jiriaya's death. He will be depressed about it for a little while.

We all know that Naruto won't ever be the same.
He is going to come back more serious, and stronger.

Naruto was depressed and upset when he heard of Jiraiya's death. After the meeting, he walked out. Iruka asked him for ramen but refused. Iruke told Naruto to cheer up that Jiraiya would have his pupil to be strong and move on. Naruto would had done the done for Jiraiya.

Naruto got over it at the end of episode 153 after talking with Shikamaru. Now I think he is going to decode the message am i right? Sucks for naruto though.

It's really sad and I think he'll hve a lot of flashbacks but the show can't remain somber forever... Well it could but then I'd stop watching. I hate to say it but the show is sooo predictable... I mean my brother asked me if I thought Naruto was gonna be able to decode the message and here is my guess "first Naruto will be all oblivious and stupid as always, then the show will get all emotionally as he realizes his destiny" and my bro said "gee, kinda sounds like what always happens" ya know? I hope they get a tad more creative

He is going to come back more serious, and stronger.Very true, but all these events are kind of necessary in order for him to change into the leader he wants to be
