There's no problem with your account. I just moved some threads around. Bath House > Chats, clubs, and families aren't counting towards your rank, same with Forum Villages > Clans, Retreats and Training Grounds.

Off-topic shouldn't count either. [/opinion]

Sure, why not.

While I'm at it, the villages shouldn't count either. It's just my opinion because a ton of spam goes on in Off-topic and Villages. I mean like:

Hey
What's up
Are you there?
Hello?
Talk!

All in five minutes by the same person.

That's why we have a retreat area in villages that doesn't count. The Village Battle stuff and discussions will count, but not the topics you described, which we wholeheartedly agree about.

If that were to happen my post count would get killed. lol

I thought you were gonna villages to uncounted subs though. Isn't that what you said about a couple weeks back?

ok, thats what i figured happened, and its a good idea, you should only rank up for meaningful posting places, not just random fool around places, like the spa and diner club, where i go for fun :)

I don't quite understand what you're saying I said, but:

Originally, we thought about the Village stuff entirely not counting towards rank until battles went up, but then we realized there are actually seem meaningful threads in there right now, albeit very few.

Let me know if that answered your question. If not, try putting it another way, and ask again.

I, like everyone, lost a good number of posts, but I approve of the decision.

I guess that it is better that way...

And I really think that it was the right thing to do...

But next time, give us a heads up the day before it happens.

It came as a big surprise to many people.

I had no idea it was happening either.

I remind everyone I am not a mod. I am not told these things in advance when they are mod decisions.

Their argument is that there should have been announcement or something.

Saying "this may happen in two weeks" is not the same as "we just did this thing."

In this case, the argument is fair, there probably should have been an announcement.

Konoha'sGreenThunder
06-07-2009, 10:08 AM
Well, I didn't mean something like "You should have read the announcement, idiots, it's your fault" I was just saying they mentioned it there.

SRhyse

I agree that an announcement should have been made, but at the same time, I don't think it would have helped. Though I wish it would have waited a little longer after the forum change to happen, it's not like there's a good time to do something like this. The response would have been the same.

I kind of like the band-aid way it went down. Now it's out of the way and we can move on. Most users are actually telling me they're cool with it and agree, which is why the complaints have been in the minority so far.
