Danzō Shimura (志村ダンゾウ, Shimura Danzō) was a Konoha elder and leader of the unofficial ANBU (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/ANBU) faction named "Root (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Root)". He was later appointed as the Candidate Sixth Hokage (六代目火影候補, Rokudaime Hokage Kōho) after Pain (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Pain)'s invasion (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Invasion_of_Pain).


Pein/Nagato

Nagato (長門), better known as Pain (ペイン, Pein), was the recognized leader of Akatsuki (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Akatsuki) and Amegakure (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Amegakure) and was a major antagonist in the series. Referred to as "Leader" by all Akatsuki members, except for Konan (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Konan), he directed the actions of the rest of the members and maintained authority over them. However, he had secretly collaborated with Tobi (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Tobi),[3] (http://naruto.viz.com/forum/#cite_note-2) who was actually Madara Uchiha (http://naruto.viz.com/wiki/Madara_Uchiha), the benefactor of Akatsuki.



Pein is allow to use anything he has and the same for danzo .

Everyone goes to get a cheeseburger except Asura path. Danzo lives for 10 minutes then Asura kills him. Heck Human might ne able to solo.

Danzou is an old sack of worthless. Kishi has a thing for killing off old people. 'The Youth bringing a new age,' is a recurrent theme in the series. In fact, has a younger person ever lost (killed by) to an older one? I am sure there has been at least one case, but I cannot think of it off the top of my head.
But, yeah. Pain is kind of in his own league. If he had all six paths trained on one target... Lights out.

Imagine Deva Path blocking everything with Shinra Tensei and throwing him around, Hungry Ghost Path absorbing anything that slips past Deva, Human Path trying to get a hold of him to suck out his soul, Animal Path spamming summons that are running around trying to trample him, Asura Path chasing him around trying to cut him and shooting missiles at him, and Naraka Path sitting back to resurrect any that might get damaged in the fray. No one can survive an onslaught like that even if they new the abilities of every body.

Ok to be honest I see some Pain wankery going on regardless Danzo survives for 10 minutes and he dies.


In fact Pain easily outlasts him.

Even Danzo with full knowledge is still more likely to lose.
