Adult Swim Postpones New Bleach Until August 2010

Nebs caught wind this morning that the new episodes of Bleach that were supposed to premiere on Adult Swim this April were no longer on the schedule. Instead, starting on April 24th, Bleach will be in rerun mode, starting back at episode 129 - during the Arrancar arc, when Hitsugaya was being even more super-awesome than usual, if I remember correctly.

I checked in with Adult Swim, and was told that the postponement was due to a "production delay" and that there would be no new premieres until August, assuming everything goes well from here. Disappointing for many, I know, but don't worry - you'll be getting your new Bleach fix soon enough.

My thoughts on this news?

1.) Gosh darn it, no more new Bleach until August 2010? :( T_T

2.) Well I guess it's better than having to wait a whole year (November 2010?).

This is seriously disappointing.....the manga is still far behind and anime is comming back with fillers....oh well, no use in whining about it :(

Well, it all depends on what Viz wants to do. Keep in mind, though, that they are working hard on One Piece (5 volumes a month until June 2010).

You could, however, PM Shryse (I apologize if misspelled) and ask him what they are going to do with the Bleach manga.

Even I'm not much of a Bleach fan, that's a real bummer for the series having to wait until August for new episodes. It's so numb.

Of course it's official, Anime Vice is a very well known and legit source for anime news.

Plus you've got this part of the news.

I know I can watch them in Japanese or read the manga online but unlike most people I enjoy the dub versions of bleach.

You can also buy the manga at your local bookstore, Volumes 1-30 are out now I believe.

most likely not, Viz has dvds scheduled for release up until July, with the latest one listed coming July 20th (will contain episodes 122-126)

I'm fine with it, but I still cant wait for the news ones to air!!! I'm waaaay ahead of adult swim on Bleach episodes, because I am at episode 264. Luv Bleach!!!! I've really got to catch up on Naruto, though.

But I already knew about that. I'm ok with it, and even if I was'nt, I would'nt blame Bleach for it. I would actually like to see some of the old episodes again like the recue Rukia arc, but it also would have been nice to see the new episodes. I'm at episode 264 so I dont mind.

I tried watching Episode 168 subbed and hated it.
