sai's oh so ironic name!

I believe that sai's name is very ironic considering theres a printing place called sai print shop, and his name is pronounced like sigh (well thats how i pronounce it) like the "im so bored" sigh and he just happens to have like no feelings like happiness. so i am sitting here thinking are these the reasons why his name is "sai", Is this where sai's name originated from,not for the actual meaning of the name but from the sound and place MR. Kishimoto found this name?

for you see the kanji for 'Sai' that he uses for his name is also the kanji for 'paint' or 'drawing'

Sai's attack is painting related and he's an artist, it was made to fit his character traits
(not to mention its a female name XD)

well it would make sense if kishimoto wrote the manga in english. but he doesnt, he writes in japanese and then it gets translated by others. so that throws your theory out the window but i like how you made that observation

Kishi, seems to have reasons for all his Character's names, there is a lot of thing that I have come across that seems, coincidental, though they possibly aren't, considering it seems Kishi has various reasons for thhings and based things on something. Though the name Sai, seems rather ironic to me as well, so much things to so with that name, seem to be like his overall Character. So really it looks to me that Sai, wasn't randomly chosen, though was chosen, with the Character's personality in mind.
