the future of shippuden on disney xd discussion

after yesterdays....edit...i would like for you all to discuss what may happen to shippuden in disney xd in the future. as we all know, the edit on episode 26 was just...FAIL in disney xd's part.`:(

I have no idea, I am sure it made at least one person that watches the Japanese version drop Shippuden on Disney XD, and I think they will continue their edits. I was talking to my mom about how the edits were just ridiculous and then she said, "Well, Disney XD has a reputation to hold up with being nice and kind, not violent and bloody. They don't necessarily do this for the children but more for the parents because when you were young, I wouldn't want you to watch somebodies head being chopped off (referring to Hidan) but the children actually can watch it usually without side effects." After she then started chanting *No blood! No blood!* I then thought, "What the hell?!"

So I don't think that Disney XD will ever lighten up on the edits, not because of the children, but because of the crazy parents who don't think their children can handle it.

well the show is not goin anywhere because people will still watch it, even if they do complain about it. if you were flippin through channels and you saw naruto on, i know all of you would watch it.

Just remember it could of been worse. They could of not shown all the scrathes on Sakura's arm.

I think part of all the hate towards the episode is that last weeks was really not edited, and now this weeks episode was really edited at the end.

yeah remember episode 1 on xd when sasuke was shown taking out his sword.they completly edited the sword scene at least they kept the sword on this episode

how many times do i have to repeat myself? Our generation loved violence and could handle it so our parents didn't care.But this generation does not like blood so they can't sho it or viz + disney would get in trouble

agree I mean look there more violence movie out right now and yet parents are let their kids see them but when it come to anime theat what they worry about the violence. to me that is so sick and wrong you know

To put simply, Disney will always be a channel for kids. Shippuden will never be a show for kids. Therefore, it shouldn't be on Disney. Ever.

NICK (not nicktoons) and CN arent shows. they are channels. and they have waay more mature things then disney. disney is for little kids, face it. nick and CN have little kid shows too, but they also have shows for older audiences, which disney does not. and i never said anything about nick or CN ...
