Well, I think that Naruto is a good Anime. Naruto has some commical moments, and it also has good fight scenes. The only thing that brings this Anime down is the speed of the story, it's too slow, at least for my style.

On the other hand, Bleach is another really good Anime. Is has a few more commical moments than Naruto does, but also, it has a few parts that bore me, and in the end, I end up thinking that most of the fights took way too long.

So, in my opinion, both of the Anime are equal.

I used to LUV Bleach before i came to know about Naruto.
Whenever my friends talked about Naruto, i was like "eh? What the hell is that!?"
Now i only watch/read Naruto.
The reason i like Naruto better is because it's story never loses it's excitement. Bleach really lost it after the Bounto arc, h'm.

I use to only watch Naruto. In late July 2009 I got into Bleach, of course right when I started to watch it, it went to filler. I read the manga, but the Naruto manga is just more interesting because in Bleach, there are no surprises. In Bleach, the good guys always win (Except when fighting Aisen) and with Naruto there is never a for sure winner in a battle (Except if Naruto or Sasuke are involved in it). So I like Naruto more.

Soul reapers. Basically... this kid becomes a soul reaper and yeh the start is about how he like copes and random little storylines. Oh btw a soul reaper like cleanses hollows (bad spirits) and sends them to some place called soul society. Well yeh after a heap of those short storylines, it goes to a main one. Basically this guy's 'friend' is taken to soul society and is sentenced to death, he has to save her... well yeah it's actually really hard to explain, sorry this is the bes ti could do without ruining it too much. But if you havent read/seen it you HAVE to, the fights are EPIC.

I really enjoy Bleach and Naruto. Bleach has A LOT of fillers though, making it quite boring, so if you're new to it, skip past all of the fillers.

I can't really say I like one better than the other. They're both really good, and they both have good fight-scenes and story-lines.

Naruto is a lot better done story wise and the story is all I care about in the end. I tried watching Bleach but quickly got horribly sick of it and stopped some time ago. Bleach's best episodes feel like bad Naruto fillers.

Personally, I think both Bleach and Naruto are equally as entertaining. The first half of Naruto seemed very childlike to me while Shippuden matured a lot and caught my interest more. A lot of things that happen in Naruto are unexpected and I love that but there are also times when it pisses me off to the breaking point. The whole chasing Sasuke ordeal is actually very idiotic to me. Sasuke has gone to the dark side with no hopes of coming back, so why is Naruto so fixated on bring Sasuke back when he clearly does not want help. The saying goes "You can only help those who seek help." Bleach is a great anime to me but the episodes take forever to be dubbed in English and that is so annoying. Bleach outcomes are usually very predictable as well but there has been some very interesting twists in the story-line. In my opinion, the characters in Bleach are more appealing art wise but the characters in Naruto have way better story-lines and background. Naruto fillers are also better than Bleach fillers. Bleach is attended for a older audience, where as Naruto Shippuden is being aired on Disney XD. We have little 12 year olds running around talking about I know more about Naruto than you do. Not many children even know what Bleach is. Bleach fighting scenes are better than Naruto but Naruto has more fighting twists which always makes me gasp in shock. Bleach, you already know Ichigo is going to win regardless. I do not like action manga, so I do not even waste my time trying to read the entire Naruto or Bleach manga but I do scan through the pages to see what might be shown in future episodes. Overall, both animes are exceptionally great. There is really no major romance in either Bleach or Naruto. There are characters who like other characters but the anime does not evolve around those love interests.

None. I'm seriously getting bored of both, and I've been focusing on other anime/mangas that-IMO-are way better than either.

Sure, Higurashi, Jigoku Shoujo, and Junjou Romantica aren't as popular as both combined, but at least they don't make me want to fall asleep halfway through an episode. :|

basically, the main character, lelouch lamperuge, gains the ability to control a persons actions with a magic power known as geass which he obtains after meeting the main female lead,cc.

the plot involves the nation britania enslaving japanese (known as 11's) and a rebellion lead by zero (lelouch ) to gain japans freedom. the fights in the series are handled with knightmares (the series mechs) which have fast and human like motions. the fights are simply some of the best in anime. they are only are outmatched by the shows story, which involves some of the best twists in anime history in my opinion. lelouch is also a FANTASTIC lead character...trust me.

naruto fillers are usually more tolerable than bleach ones, imo. but i enjoy both stories, although i agree with the person who said that naruto's plot is more intricate. i like the characters in both too. and i guess naruto fight scenes are more interesting because they're not only sword against sword, like in bleach. in other words, the naruto fight scenes have more dimension. but i like bleach fights a lot too. i guess if it comes down to a question of which is a better show/manga, i would say naruto ranks slightly higher than bleach for me. but i love them both

I believe I read a while ago that Tite Kubo was a fan of Nirvana and Bleach was one of their albums so he named it after that.
As for the topic of the thread I think they are both great anime's. The music in Bleach is really good and makes those epic moments even better. Bleach still has A LOT of mystery and that's what I like about it, but the recent fillers are starting to piss me off. Basically I love both equally.
