I don't think it would work out at all. Sai doesn't like Ino and Ino doesn't even really know Sai. No one does. They may make an attractive couple, but other than that it would just be trouble.

I think it would be really cool! I like SaIno better than any other Ino pairing. Sai is rather quiet and shy socially, and he could use someone like Ino, who is confident, outgoing, strong-willed, and can be very sweet when she needs to be. I think they'd go well together. `:D

Well, the only SaiIno basis I know of is when Sai said Ino was beautiful and she blushed in return. Although, Sai only said that because he learned that people don't like being told the truth and that if he called them the exact opposite they'd like him better. I agree with KarinxInoFan's post wholeheartedly. Ino should be paired up with Shikamaru and Sai with Naruto or be by himself if Naruto is taken (by Sasuke;)). So, in response to the original question, I'd be bitter and a little surprised by the event.
