I mean that what Nagato did only seemed to give souls back, so what if a body was all blown up, even a soul won't bring it back to life, so do you think everyone was revived or only people who had their bodies intact?

everyone that was killed in the invasion pain in konoha that was killed by himself nagato revived and all their bodies were intact but jariya could not be revived because his body was gone and flow into the water when he died.

Woudn't it be unrealistic for everyone to have thei bodies intact? They probably lost some organs and Asura's bombs probably blew some people up.

Well...I'm pretty sure Kakashi had a nail go through his skull, and, yet he was revived.
That and I don't think anyone was blown up or anything. Pein's killing methods weren't that violent. It was "Either tell me where the Nine-Tails is or have your soul sucked out"
But say one of his dogs crushed someone...I don't think they'd come back. Any person's death that wasn't intentional would probably remain dead.

Still. He was beat up pretty bad and he came back.

If he did that Jutsu on every corpse in the Village then people that have been dead for years might have came back.
I think if they were aimed at they came back. If it was an accidental-type death I wouldn't think they'd come back. But no one really knows.
Maybe everyone, only who died in that battle, did come back.
